Equipped with a pellet stove (open fireplace), large terrace, jetty and small swimming pool (May–Sept). Right on open water and connected to the IJsselmeer – an ideal fishing spot from the jetty; fishing from a boat is also possible. Free use of the red boat with an electric motor, a canoe (3-person) and a surfboard. - Use of the swimming pool and boats is at your own risk. High chair and stair gate (downstairs) provided at your own risk.

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is nicely centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty! Within a few minutes' walk, you are on the beach and the cozy boulevard with catering facilities. Beach Resort Makkum is a holiday at a beautiful resort on the IJsselmeer!

Apartment 't Achterdijkje

't Achterdijkje is a centrally located apartment in the authentic fishing village of 'Makkum'. The view of the sea dike and the masts of the ships in the harbor makes it the perfect location for rest and relaxation. From the front door, you can walk up the dike and have a view of the IJsselmeer and the port of Makkum. Fancy more life in the brewery? At about 200 meters is the center of Makkum and at about 2.5 km the beach with restaurants, shops and a top location for windsurfing!

This beautiful house right on the dike can accommodate up to 6 people. The centerpiece is the spacious terrace with its breathtaking view of the IJsselmeer. Whether spending time in the sun or watching the numerous surfers, sailing boats or water birds. Everyone really gets their money's worth here. The house was furnished with a lot of love to a high standard. Appliances such as a Bora hob and a Quooker hot water tap were installed in the kitchen. We look forward to seeing you.

De Flie

Welcome to our characteristic cottage, located in the center of Makkum. In earlier times, a skipper's family, father, mother and six children lived in this house. Father on the water and mother sold petroleum at home. Nowadays, it is no longer possible to imagine. Now this cozy cottage offers all the comforts for two people in a lovely quiet neighborhood. A few nice restaurants, the bakery, bike rental and the supermarket are within walking distance.

It HavenNêst

This beautiful building has been completely restored in 2024/2025. This centrally located accommodation is tastefully decorated and is located in the heart of Workum overlooking the harbor and the large church. All the shops, restaurants and museums are in walking distance . One of the most beautiful city squares of Friesland "De Merk" just a stone's throw away. There is plenty of parking space around the cottage. Pets are allowed after consultation.

In 2022, we built our vacation home in this unique location and it has all the comforts! Whether you are cooking together in the luxury kitchen or hanging out on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove, you will notice the intimate atmosphere and the beautiful light everywhere. The house is located directly on open water and has a large veranda. With the village and beach within cycling distance, this is a wonderful place to recharge.

Vacation home in Makkum/ Ijsselmeer

The vacation home has now been completely renovated and refurnished. It has a 3 meter jetty with direct access to the IJsselmeer. The terrace faces south, so you can enjoy the sun until late in the evening. The beach is gently sloping. In the park there is a rental for bicycles, family bikes, standup paddle boards etc. There is a supermarket, a pizzeria and numerous restaurants nearby. Medical care is also available in the village.
