Approximately 45 minutes' drive to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World, approximately 30 minutes to Virum Moose Park.

Cottage Uddebo, private beach and garden

Uddebo is located right by Rosjön and only 10 km north of the beautiful wooden town of Eksjö. The house is located on a headland out in the lake and has a unique lake location with lake views from all parts of the house. From the living room and bedroom, you can access a wooden deck with stairs down to the garden and jetty. It is a scenic and undisturbed location with houses nearby but not exactly next door. The proximity to national road 32 makes it easy to get here. The road can be heard, but for the vast majority it is not perceived as disturbing.

As soon as you turn off the engine of the car and walk out the car door, you will encounter the wonderful nature, the sea and the silence that only such a place can provide. Here you live comfortably and nicely in a newly-renovated one-story house of 170 square meters with various amenities and with an outstanding view of the archipelago around Figeholm. Cozy cottage for rent in a rural setting in the Småland forests. The cottage is located on a smaller farm where there are, among other things, sheep and chickens. There is the possibility to buy both honey and eggs from the farm. Nearby is Vimmerby, 40 minutes by car, where Astrid Lindgren's World is a popular destination. There is a possibility to rent bed linen SEK 100/ bed and towels SEK 50/ towel set. The tenant cities themselves upon checkout. The service can be purchased for SEK 1,000.

Next to Lake Gissen outside Vimmerby is this newly built villa. By car you can reach Astrid Lindgren's World in 10 minutes and within walking distance of 1km is the popular Tobo Golf Club with food service. Private beach with grass 50 meters from the house and shallow sandy beach 1 km away. Discover the lovely viewpoint next to the knot, take a jog on the running track or a swim in the lake. This is the place to relax after an intense day with all the lovely characters at Pippiland.

History: Our farm was built in the early 1900s by Caroline's great-grandfather Erik. Our residential house was built in 1908, the following years the rest of the buildings. In 1925, the small cottage was used as a small farmhand's house, while the upper floor and the part where the kitchen is now was storage and a granary. In the early 1980s, it was converted into a residence, then by Caroline's grandfather Nils. Enjoy a large garden, cozy cottage only 80 meters from the beach.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. A granary converted into a guest house with 6 beds. Shower, toilet, washing machine, dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, TV, DVD, (no Wi-Fi) are available. Discover all the farm's chickens, 2 cats, 1 dog and rabbits. Pick eggs and enjoy breakfast overlooking fields and forests. About 2 km from here, you will find Lake Maren where you can swim. It takes about 45 minutes to drive to Astrid Lindgren's World.
