Zo staat het romantische bankje uit de populaire film 'The Fault in Our Stars' recht voor onze deur. Je bent binnen enkele minuten lopen bij het Anne Frank Huis, het Rijksmuseum en het Vondelpark. Maar ook het bruisende nachtleven van Amsterdam is om de hoek, met tal van bars en restaurants op loopafstand.

Welcome to the holiday apartment top two floors of the house. Own entrance from side of the house. There is a ground floor apartment (mine) and a two floor apartment above (for rent). House is on the water, with many trees, and windows. Big kitchen. Not good if you do not like stairs. The main bedroom has an attic with extra bed . Close to a supermarket, and the bus to Schiphol (Amsterdam). You may see our dogs outside, and sometimes hear them, when they talk to eachtother.

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. Ale restaurants, bars, shops, cinemas, theater, music venue, concert hall, museums, markets and boat rental within walking distance. Breakfast on request (€ 19.50 per person). Loft in oude Brandweerkazerne van Wijk aan Zee

Kom overnachten in de oude Wilhelminaschool uit 1884. In een rustige straat ligt ons gebouw dat ooit als school werd gebouwd, toen als Brandweerkazerne fungeerde en waar wij nu mogen wonen. Dit derde klaslokaal is met veel liefde en geduld opgeknapt en is nu omgetoverd tot een knusse Loft van 70m2. Omdat de ruimte een open trap en vrij open balustrade heeft is het appartement niet geschikt voor kleine kinderen. Kids vanaf 7 jaar zijn welkom.
