The Loomis Family immigrated from Greece and operated the Soda Fountain and Confectionary until the 1960's. Our farm home, situated on 4 acres, is located just 25 minutes from the University of Illinois and Illini football! I-57, I-74, and I-72 are all close by. The house has a fully furnished large kitchen with a coffee bar. Two living areas provide plenty of space to stretch out. You can finish off your busy day gathering on the patio preparing dinner on the gas or charcoal grills, watching the sun set over the summer grain fields, or roasting marshmallows around the firepit.

Nauvoo with a country view

We welcome guests to our 1880 Sonora Town Hall Cottage. This building once served as a voting poll for the Sonora Township. It is now a beautiful boutique cottage for overnight guests staying in the Nauvoo area. We are located on a working grain farm 6 miles southeast of Nauvoo. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.
