This charming two story cottage, known as Casa Verde, is located on a delightful organic farm 5 minutes outside of Cotacachi (15 minutes from Otavalo and 1.5 hrs from Quito). It is a cozy retreat nestled between the Andes Mountains of Mama Cotacachi and Papa Imbabura with expansive organic vegetable gardens that our guests are welcome to enjoy. "Kawsay" is located within the San Clemente commune at an altitude of 2,800 meters above sea level, Kichwa Karanqui indigenous village, next to the Imbabura Volcano, approximately 25 minutes from downtown Ibarra. We will be happy to share our rustic home built in mingas with local materials.
