Holiday rentals in Inglenook

This was our second stay - such a special house situated in a perfect spot. We just love the feel of the place and it’s hard to beat the view and peacefulness of the location. Don’t miss the walk down to the beach (our kids and dog can manage the last little climb down with the rope), or sitting in the hot tub in the morning and evening. Easy drive to Mendocino and other spots as well.

Stunning property with ocean views from the living room. This classic Sea Ranch architecture is beautifully complemented by tasteful decor and a well-stocked kitchen. We truly felt at home and had a wonderful time. Willa and Craig were fantastic hosts—providing clear directions, helpful local tips, and being readily available if we needed anything. We’d love to return!

Simy was a great host! Very responsive & helpful. The place was incredible & the views were absolutely beautiful. Relaxing in the hot tub with the view was truly amazing & we cannot wait to visit again soon!

Denise is a fantastic host. Not only is the place gorgeous and accessible, but the amenities are top notch. She's very responsive and accommodating to any of our requests. We celebrated our one year anniversary here after having a great time last year and this could very well be an annual thing, it's very special to us. Hands down, must stay. A truly special place (the home) within a special place (the Caspar headlands, the Mendocino area more broadly). The incredible views of the wild coast can be enjoyed from bed, from the kitchen, dining room, and of course the back yard. The trails walkable from the house — the lighthouse trail to the South, the headlands trail to the North — feel special even by the standards of Mendocino headlands trails. House is very well equipped and comfortable. We’re looking forward to returning!

An awesome place to stay, and the private beach access was an amazing perk!

The reviews say it all - this is a 5 star Airbnb perfect for rest and relaxation. John greeted us and was very friendly and responsive. The gardens are beautiful and we were lucky enough to get a clear sky at night which was incredible. The Airbnb is a short drive to the centre of Fort Bragg and around a 15 minute drive to Mendocino both of which are lovely seaside towns to wander around. I also booked in with Paul for a massage, who sorted my aching neck out caused by a few weeks travelling. He’s on the more expensive side but you get what you pay for and I’d highly recommend booking in with him if you are staying at here. It’s a great addition to an already fabulous Airbnb.

We (3 adults plus our dog) had a lovely weekend stay! It’s a quiet location convenient to Mendocino, and we enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace after walking on the beach.

We enjoyed the Gull Cottage for a birthday trip. The house was clean, easy to access, and very comfortable. Jennifer communicated quickly on all questions to help get us accommodated. The hot tub and fireplace were very nice features and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet, perfect for walking dogs and enjoying nature. We had two issues - the spa jets would not turn off but Jennifer assured us to leave it and they would sort out the problem, and the main tv remote was broken from a prior renter but Jennifer had the remote shipped and delivered during our stay. Overall, great place to stay, great location between Ft. Bragg and Mendocino, and great communication from Jennifer. We plan to visit again.
