Large kitchen with direct access to ski room/lubrication room. The cabin has an electric car charger.

Enjoy quiet days in a cozy cabin with a brand new wood-fired sauna, perfect for relaxing after trips in the mountains or a day on the slopes. The cabin is large (109 sqm), spacious and open. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is an opportunity for hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine facilities in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities in summer and winter.

There are five buildings on the farm that are from the 1800s. Sauefjøset was renovated in 2023 for rental. There are two double beds (150 cm) - one downstairs and one upstairs on the loft. Hiking right outside the door, everything from easy hikes in flat terrain on the way to many peaks of 2000 meters. 230 waters and 250km. rivers to fish in. På 920 moh får dere fantastisk utsikt mot Gaustatoppen, fredelige omgivelser og svært gode solforhold fra morgen til kveld. Kort vei til snaufjellet, flotte turmuligheter, fiske, bading og langrenn, i tillegg til seterliv på Håvardsrud og kulturarven på Rjukan, som står på UNESCOs verdensarvliste. Gaustablikk skisenter ligger 50 km fra hytta. Hytta passer godt for familier og gjester som ønsker ro, natur, utsikt og gode opplevelser året rundt.
