Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

The Barn has been welcoming guests since 2012 and has recently been renovated to modernise and brighten the home. It was previously listed on AirBnB as Garden Lodge. Set on a very quiet lane in the gorgeous Suffolk village of Charsfield, The Barn is perfectly located for easy access to the wonderful Suffolk Coast. Unique getaway in stunning riverside setting
The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

The Old Stables, Needham Market - explore Suffolk
The Old Stables is a lovely two bedroom cottage converted to a high standard. The historic village of Needham Market has great transportation links via rail and road across the region to the coast, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and into London. Needham Market is a great central Suffolk location, from here it is quick & easy to get to see all the sights across Suffolk, from Southwold to Lavenham, Framlingham to Woodbridge you can explore easily from this historic and well connected market town.

Bijou cabin next to the sea
The cabin lies in the grounds of the hosts main dwelling which is situated within 200 yards of Frinton's spectacular greensward and beautiful sandy beaches. The cabin is within a very leisurely 10-15 mins walk to the facilities of both Frinton and Walton where there is an abundance of shops, cafes, eating establishments and entertainment. Further afield and depending on your interests there are many other outstanding places to visit which I'd be only too happy to discuss with you.

A beautiful large farmhouse, dating from approximately 1600 and listed Grade II, in acres of idyllic gardens and overlooking a mile-wide river estuary. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
