- Entire home
My father executed his vision and built Mahoney Manor from the ground up. What started as a "camp" eventually became his full-time home before his untimely death in 2018. Nestled in the woods at the base of Ira Mountain just minutes from Sugarloaf and along the Carrabassett River, Emmett created a sanctuary. He spent the last years of his life "developing" two empty lots into a Zen-like nature trail system with hand made bridges and benches perfect for 4-season walking or snowshoeing.
- Private room
Nestled in the mountains of western Maine, Terrapin Hostel is a true gem. It was built in 1920 and is a wonderful example of New England craftsmanship. All of the original trim, windows, and doors take you back in time to an era where attention to detail was accustomed. Amenities include high speed internet, free parking, continental breakfast, fully equipped kitchen/dining space, common living space, towels, soap, shampoo, foosball/darts, instruments.

Miss Lucy Lu (Lucy) is the cat residents who lives in this special apartment. She is the host and will greet you. She loves people. She is an indoor kitty. There is a restaurant next door, the gallery is downstairs, swimming out the back of the building. Sugarloaf mountain close by. Mountains of possibilities in the western area of Maine.
