Holiday rentals with beach access in Ishigaki

Masa is the definition of a super host. He was there to greet us upon check-in and helped us with every little thing. He was attentive, respectful, and went above and beyond. The space he created not only matched the photos and descriptions, but it exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend and would stay here every time we go to Ishigaki. Truly the best!! :)

The facility was very new, and everything was new and we had a comfortable stay. I had a 3 year old and 6 year old, but they both loved the loft and were very happy to play. I also rented a car and I was able to go around all the places I wanted to go on Ishigaki Island. There was also a dehumidifier, which was very helpful. We were also able to pick up and drop off at the airport and move smoothly. The owner was also very friendly and quick to respond, so I had no trouble at all. Ishigaki Island, which I was very excited about, made my trip more enjoyable than I expected, and I would like to come back again.

Great stay and even better hospitality.

This place was peaceful, and spacious. You could probably house a family of seven in here no problem. It’s close to an area of Kabira Beach that is pretty, but less crowded than the main area. You do have to walk a bit to get to restaurants etc., but we didn’t mind. この所はしずかと広いです。もし7人がいたら多分問題ではありません。混んでいらない川平ビーチのきれいな所の近くであります。レストランとかはちょっと歩くのが必要けど私たちは大丈夫でした。

Tsukasa's place was like having our own beachfront house! The island vibe made it feel so relaxing. The industrial kitchen was very used-friendly and basic amenities were provided. The home was clean and uncluttered, and we had plenty of space for all our stuff as a family of 5, he even provided drying racks in both bedrooms. Having a washer/dryer was key because our visit was very rainy, but we ventured out anyway, and frequently came home in wet clothes! PLEASE do heed his advice about getting groceries in the city first, as there is very little convenience nearby this pretty rural location. We loved the peace & quiet, essentially private beach, and beautiful stars of the clear nights.

We had a wonderful stay at Ichiro and Yukko’s villa! From booking they were friendly and responsive, and provided extremely clear instructions and helpful local advice for the island. The villa itself was easy to find, and located at the end of a quiet street. It felt private and had wonderful views of the sea and surrounding mountains. There was only two of us, but there was plenty of space for a larger group. The villa was spotless, and the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. It definitely helped to have a rental car to explore the island more, as the villa is about a 20-30 minute drive from the airport and not super close to many shops/places to eat (but there’s a delicious local soba shop only steps away - definitely try it!!). Ichiro and Yukko were great hosts and we would recommend this villa (and Ishigaki in general) to anyone! :-)

We had one amazing week at Eriko (she communicated with us most of time) and Jordy‘s place. Very friendly and kind owners. The house is really well equipped and the private beach is magnificent. Without going somewhere else, you can enjoy the time doing, BBQ at the garden, kayaking (watching sunset, visit the mangrove), snorkeling and of course using the private beach. We absolutely loved staying here. We participated in a „Jungle Waterfall Trekking“ which was great, and recommend to anyone who like to explore the local nature. It’s definitely worth it. Where to begin! We had the most magical, rejuvenating stay with Chika and Rento. They are a special couple who bring a special energy to their place. We were greeted with welcome drinks and had a nice chat with Chika before we settled in. She was extremely accommodating and helped us feel comfortable. Fair warning - this stay is more akin to glamping, and you will bunk with some friendly critters but the beds were extremely comfortable and we slept like babies with the mosquito netting up. The room was also well air-conditioned and they gave us all the amenities we needed. We loved staying at a cafe, Chika is an amazing cook! We enjoyed farm fresh breakfast and cafe menu each day. Her place is very popular, but we only ever felt at peace and had our own quiet, private space to go back to if we needed it, but we always found ourselves wanting to enjoy the company. If you want to feel connected to nature and be steps away from the best beach, stay here. If you don’t, stick to a resort.

This is my second trip to Ishigakijima and was very satisfied with this house, so clean, so spacious... just like the pictures! I recommend
