Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Islamorada

We really enjoyed our stay. The host, Sherry, gave timely information and quickly responded to messages. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of amenities that were available to us at the house. The Cabana Club was a real hit with my teenage daughters. It had reasonably priced drinks and lunch type meals. They enjoyed just laying by the pool or beach and sun tanning. We saw manatees one of the evenings right in the backyard of the home.

The stay experience exceeded our expectations. The only recommendation would be to have a listing of recommended restaurants, beaches, boat rental places, etc to go see in both Marathon and key west. We visited key west and found out afterwards where we should have gone.

This spot was great! The home is spacious, incredibly comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s located at the very end of an inlet, offering a waterfront setting but I wouldn't call it picturesque. While we didn’t have a boat, it looked like getting one in and out would be easy for an experienced boater. The house was spotless—you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping it clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, with soft sheets that made for a great night’s sleep. Everything related to rest and relaxation was truly top-notch. The home is well-stocked with basic necessities for living, though if you have specific cooking preferences or comfort items, you should make a quick trip to the store. The neighborhood is very quiet, with the exception of some occasional noise from the nearby airport—but that’s just part of being in Marathon. Parking was easy, the pool was great, and everything matched the description perfectly. We highly recommend

This home was exactly as described. It's close enough to all sorts of attractions and restaurants, but also feels like a private oasis. The back yard was AMAZING with a pool, hot tub, fire pit, and games there was always something to do. I especially loved the pool, even at night! The house was spotless and when I walked in I noticed it smelled amazing in there. The king size bed was comfy, and I love that this house has a washer and dryer so I was able to wash our bathing suits etc. It's very convenient! JC was responsive and also gave us some great recommendations on restaurants to try. I would love to be able to stay here again soon. Between the location, cleanliness, comfort level, and amenities this place has to offer, it is by far one of the best airbnb's I've ever stayed in hands down. Thanks again for a wonderful stay JC!

Alfonso is a very responsive host who provided clear details, local recommendations (multiple of which we used), and provided a place in a great location. Neighbors are friendly. Place was clean. Perfect for our family with a 14 and 6 year old.

This was the most perfect Airbnb for our vacation. First of all, Marathon is the perfect location if you are looking to explore multiple parts of the Keys. 1 hour to Key Largo, 1 hour to Key West. We could not have asked for a better location. The home looks just like the photos and was perfect for our family of 4 + our pup. The beds were comfortable, the living space had plenty of room for our crew, but the real show stopper was the pool. If we weren't out and about exploring the Keys, we were definitely in/by the pool! A few added bonuses: (1) K-cups for our use for that first morning. This kept us from having to worry about an emergency grocery store trip the evening of our arrival (2) pool floats available for our use (3) bikes & kayaks for everyone (4) EVERYTHING. We couldn't have asked for better - we will definitely be back!

Jay's house at Coco Plum was the perfect location for our group visiting Marathon. The house is spectacular with the pool and tiki bar in the back yard. Everyone loved the house and was pleased at how well appointed it is. Five bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own space and relax on the trip. The kitchen is great and has everything needed for us to cook a few nights. We are looking at the calendar to rent again next year.

My family had a wonderful time at the Islander (part of the Oceans Cay Villas)! The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room were well stocked. We enjoyed the 4 bikes, ping pong table, yard games (jumbo connect 4, cornhole, throwing star target game) and endless pool toys. The host provided 5 beach chairs, umbrellas and 2 portable coolers. In addition to the outdoor grill, there are 2 freestanding freezers (one for fish/bait and one for extra food/drinks). We spent a lot of time in the pool and jacuzzi. Easy to adjust the water temp. The kayaks and paddle boards are shared with 2 neighboring units. Use/availability was not an issue. Perhaps our favorite thing about the house is the view of the water. The patio and 2 decks provide a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico. We watched the sunset with awe every night. Finally, Marathon is the perfect location... lots of activities to keep you busy or you can just relax.

Home was beautiful and definitely worth the cost. The extra amenities were also fabulous. Unfortunately the check in did not go smoothly at all. No check in instructions were sent, the 2 addresses provided at the initial booking did not get us to the property. Once the call center did respond, it said "you were emailed instructions" (the check in instructions were actually never received until check out- even once we said we never got them) We found our way to the resort and the staff assisted us getting to the residence address, they were super helpful and gracious. The on site property manager Josie was a absolute godsend, without her we wouldn’t have gotten in either day. The second day the code was not working and we did not get timely assistance . Josie again came to the rescue, even on her day off. While the first 24 hours were definitely bumpy, we had no further issues and had a great stay. If it wasn't for the check in issues it would've been a perfect review.

What a beautiful place! We still can't get over it. It must be brand new and so well kept. The furniture was so nice and high end, I hope other guests treat it like the gem that it is! More room than needed for two adult couples. Easy walk to neighborhood pool with ocean views. The access to the resort is about an 11 minute walk cutting through a busy street. But was easy to drive over and park at the resort, so not too bad. Can't wait to stay again- it really is a bang for the buck if you compare a hotel ROOM per night VS the villa!

I had an amazing time around, Josie was amazing and the overall attention was great, if you want to relax and have a great time around, this is your place!

Beautifully appointed with all the amenities. Great location. The four of us loved having our own bedrooms and bathrooms.

Our stay was excellent. The house was beautiful and we had plenty of room. Having access to the resort was ideal for families with kids or teens. They loved meeting other kids in the resort. We always had excellent communication with our hosts which we appreciated it. We look forward to coming back again.

Our stay at this house was absolutely perfect! The home itself was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. What made it even better was the access to the resort amenities like pools, restaurants, and activities, all just a short distance away. It truly felt like having the best of both worlds: the privacy of a home with the luxury of a resort.
