The cottage is located at the bottom of the main house's small private garden. It is quiet & secure. Half a minutes walk from Largs train station. Fully equipped for self catering. This studio style cottage has a shower room with towels ,shower gel, toilet rolls and handwash supplied. A small kitchen area with electric cooker, sink, fridge with ice box , kettle and toaster. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with complementary tea, coffee and cereal. The fridge will also be stocked ,fresh milk,etc.

It's our family's very well furnished holiday home. We can comfortably sleep up to six. It has a large kitchen and dining area, living room, garage and child-safe garden with outdoor games. Seamew enjoys an unspoilt view of the Firth of Clyde as well as the islands of Pladda and Ailsa Craig!

There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Welcome to Whin Cottage, a cosy stonebuilt home on the South West coast of Arran. Dating from 1900 when it was a farm house, it looks out over fields to the southern Arran hills. Our cottage is a great place to escape from the many stresses of everyday life, have a digital detox ( no wifi by choice) whilst offering a perfect base from which to discover Arran. Five minutes drive to Blackwaterfoot where you'll find local shops, golf course, riding stables, swimming pool and sandy beach. Mill Barn is central to travelling anywhere on the Island. The main ferry port in Brodick is less than 20 minutes drive away. If you are bringing bikes there is a lockable shed in the garden for storage.
