“We appreciated Leslie's level of communication. She provided all of the important information needed to get in clearly by email. There was a binder inside that clearly explained the house rules and other important information that was pertinent to our weekend of four wheeling. The house was clean and very comfortable!”
The cabin has one bedroom with a king size bed, large living area with the most lovely fireplace, small well equipped kitchen and bathroom. It sleeps 3-4 comfortably. In addition to the king size bed in the bedroom there is a queen sized pull out sofa. The cabin is in Moose River, next to Jackman, the area one of the best places to snowmobile in the country. Trails are accessible right from the cabin. The perfect place for snowmobiling, ATV, fishing, hunting, relaxing and hibernating.
“Nancy and Dan offer a convenient, comfortable, and cozy space to stay in. The fireplace and the dry and available wood was an amazing touch and perfect to come home to after a day in the woods. Directions, information, and check in instructions were sent prior to the beginning of our trip and was incredibly convenient. Can’t thank them enough for a quiet and peaceful weekend away!”
This lovely cottage was built in 2013 and sits on a quiet road with 70 feet of lakefront. Stunning views of Big Wood Lake, Sally Mountain & sunsets are bountiful. Enjoy all that the area has to offer; fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, well maintained ATV and snowmobile trails. Grocery store, restaurants/bars, gas station, & boat landing are within one mile of the cottage. Jackman Power Sports is 1/16 of a mile away. In the winter, you can enjoy easy access to all the snowmobile trails!
“We chose to stay in Jackman because we wanted a “staycation” away from home. What a great time we had just sitting in the beautiful deck listening to the loons and watching the sunsets. A hummingbird flew up and hovered in front of me just checking us out. If you get up early, you can watch the eagles fly from the trees and swoop down onto the lake. There were three sets of binoculars provided which was nice because one person in our party is quickly losing her vision to macular dystrophy. My cousin’s on in law took his 5 year old daughter out in the canoe and she caught her first fish, a bass, that her dad threw back. She was thrilled! And he took his 2 year old out in the kayak. There were life jackets provided but he brought us own for the kids. We just loved stargazing and saw a momma moose with her two babies. We would love to come back to Jackman and relax and get away again and Moose Point would be our FIRST choice. A lovely home. A beautiful view. Great amenities.”
