The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

Unfortunately there is no access to water in winter time. But if you like winter swimming, we´ll keep the ice open to take a dip in the Sea. A sofa bed for 2 pers and a small loft for 2 kids is available. Floor heating, a cosy stove, all cooking possibilites and WIFI is for your convenience.

Rautatieasema ja tori ovat noin 1,5 kilometrin päässä, joten liikkuminen on helppoa. Majoitut omassa yläkerran huoneistossa, jossa on oma sisäänkäynti ja pysäköinti pihassa. Huoneisto sopii 1–4 majoittujalle: makuuhuoneessa on muhkea 160cm leveä parisänky ja olohuoneessa kaksi 80 cm leveää sänkyä.

My great grandfather built both the guesthouse and the main building in the 1920's. Since then the main building has served as the village school, my grandfather's home and since the 90's it has been my childhood home. Swedish / Finnish / English
