The Suite Casa Mateus, is a 1 bedroom detached house located in the Douro Valley and next to the historical train station of Aregos (Tormes). Due to its location, it is possible to unique views over the Douro river. The suite has a separated entrance and is equipped with a Kitchenette, complete bathroom and bedroom/living room with TV. This is an excellent location for couples who are seeking a good place to relax, wonderful views, hospitality, history, wonderful gastronomy and wines.

The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).

Vald'arêgos Rural Tourism - Casa Cortiço

CORTIÇO: The apartment overlooking the Douro is named “Cortiço”. It is so called, in homage to honey, a secular food that was also produced on our property, exactly in this place. The family gathered to extract this nectar, laboriously produced by the bees, to serve not only as a delicacy, but also as a home remedy for everyday ailments.
