In the winter there is a log burner, in the summer a sunny flint walled garden. Nestled within the South Downs National Park this medieval village has independent and quirky shops, lots of choices of where to eat. Walks to enjoy - nearby is the sea, forest, vineyards, Downs or riverside. London 2 hours by car, 90 mins by train.

A lovely detached one bedroom Sussex flint barn close to South Downs National Park and the Long Man, ideal for Glyndebourne (18 mins). We are in a quiet no through lane within 20 minutes walking distance of 3 pubs & 2 tearooms. Sleeps 2 adults and up to 3 children (sofa bed in living room and single pull out in bedroom). Good dogs are welcome (£30 supplement) and can use the fully enclosed garden and sunny front deck.If you want to leave the dog/s on their own, please check with us!

Welcome to The Jungle retreat

The Jungle is a peaceful self-contained one-bed barn conversion in the grounds of our village house. It takes its' name from the colourful collection of animal curios we have collected and will delight anyone with a sense of fun and adventure. Guests have commented that the property is much larger than the photographs suggest.
