“This is a great place to stay. There is a kitchen, fridge, comfortable bed, fan, deck and roof access, WiFi, a cool living room area, and a nice location at a good price. You can see the ocean from the house, and a few minutes walking brings you to the main road and boutiques and the market. Walk a bit farther and there is the mesmerizing of Fadiout. House offers privacy and style. Highly recommended.”
Very quiet house, with guard, generator in case of cut and water tank for pressure drop. Located halfway in Mbour and the islands of Saloum, the house offers a very good setting for relaxation and rest. We have a total of 3 rooms for rent.
Welcome to the "Ile aux coquillages"!
“The succession of rave reviews convinced us to spend a night-stop Chez Do, to rest between the trip Thies-Djiffer (the city of Warrang-Nianing is halfway, and is a good base camp to discover Joal-Fadiouth too). And it is indeed a very good time we spent there. Although the beach is dirty and strewn with rubbish like most of the Senegalese beaches, the town is nice, the people adorable and the cuisine of Do excellent (especially skewers of monkfish, local recipe). The toilets are Western-style, the shower and the electricity work well. The atmosphere is relaxed around the stove at night with ataya (tea). Travelers will appreciate the place and the people there as tourists. Here the Senegalese teranga makes perfect sense. We loved cooking with 6 hands for example.”
