Hello dear visitors! We are a team of two passionate travellers (Ieva and Nicolas) who settled down on a faraway fjord in Iceland and are excited to meet you here. We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. Our little cozy studio is a result of our own imagination, we created it ourselves with lots of love and personal touch. Looking forward meeting you here and sharing our tips on discovering beautiful East.

Country Home in Nature

This Country home is located 8km from the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The house is at a perfect spot in southern Iceland where you can drive to the main attractions in the area such as Fjaðrárgljúfur, Vatnajökull, Diamond beach, and more. In Kirkjubæjarklaustur are common necessities such as groceries, restaurants, a swimming pool, and more. This home is a good fit for a family or a group of 6-7 travelers. It is located on a large land where guests are free to roam around and explore.

Mosi Hut

Escape to a small, cozy cabin nestled among pseudo craters near Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Ideal for two adults and it is possible to add an extra bed for one child. , it features a double bed a well-organized open studio space, a kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Relax on the private terrace or explore the nearby hiking trails. Great restaurants are nearby, and the location is perfect for visiting southeast Iceland's highlights, most within 1,5 hour drive.

Snæbyl cottage 4

A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 56m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view. We are 15 km from the main road and the house is in a peaceful place with beautiful mountain surroundings.

The cottages are comfortably designed to make you feel home away from home and to enjoy the amazing nature that the south coast of Iceland has to offer. If you are lucky you might even see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky.

Cozy, minimalist 36 sqm mini Villa for max 2 persons (including children 0-13), only 2 km away from Fjaðrárgljúfur. The mini Villa has a stunning view of mountains and mossy lava field. Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Hólshýsi - Hóls Cottage

In Fljótsdal next to the farm Hóll in Norðurdalur is Hólshýsi. A cosy cottage that is surrounded by endless adventures and sounds of nature and wildlife. Close to countless highlights such as Hengifoss, Hallormstaður, the Wilderness Center and Laugarfell.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
