Immediately upon entering, you were greeted by a homely and welcoming atmosphere. The host is good at decorating so that it felt both cozy and modern. All the amenities you might need were there, plus some extra things the host set up to welcome us there. As a bonus, it was optional to let in three cats who were all affectionate and cuddly even to us strangers (they managed themselves otherwise). The location itself was perfect to quickly get to the ski slope by car.

A very cosy and well equipped cabin. We felt right at home. We enjoyed going for hikes in the area and using the sauna. Vesa is a very nice and communicative host. We hope to come back!

Nice modern cottage with a nice outdoor space. Some crying cooking utensils but otherwise completely fine. Close to Isaberg mountain resort.

Great place to stay while skiing at Isaberg: it is comfortably short distance to the resort by car while the quality and price is way better compared to other options in Hestra. The house itself has a big brand new and very well equipped kitchen, 2 baths, cozy living room. Bedrooms have super comfy beds. Although it was very warm in the house while it was -10 outside, 1 bedroom had somewhat chill air. In summer there's probably lots of hiking possibilities as the forest starts behind the house and there's a lake nearby.

It is a very quiet and peaceful place with very beautiful surroundings. We spent one of the days in the wilderness village which we can really recommend.

We loved our stay here! The location is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, Elisabeth and Jorgen truly went out of their way to accommodate us. We hope to come back soon!

lovely place! beautiful area for walking. only the 2 p bed was not quite our taste/ in terms of comfort.

We were there for a little week and had an amazing time, the apartment is in a quiet town with beautiful nature around although there are no shops in the town you can drive about 20 minutes to either shop at willys or ICA. Rikke as a host is quick to respond and makes sure that her guests are having a good stay.

We wanted to celebrate a quiet New Year's Eve in front of a fire in cozy cabin and our wishes were met by far! We are happy to return and stay longer to explore Sommen and its surroundings at another season.

Cozy little place to stay in beautiful around. Clean and stylish. Nice helpful host. What we might be missing was a microwave/kettle/coffee maker.
