An old house attached to the CASA GRANDE (advertised as CASA GRANDE DE JUNCAIS) transformed into a small independent apartment, Casa do Meio has 1 bedroom with a toilet, a living room with a kitchenette and a salamander, and can accommodate 2 people. Guests will have access to the game room, billiards, ping-pong, foosball, bicycles and swimming pool. Guests are provided with information about places to visit, where to eat, which way to go... and someone from the House is always around for any support that is needed. It is located in the center of the village, constituting one side of the main square, in an area of 5444 m2. Located in Serra da Estrela, a few kilometers from Penhas Douradas, in an area of Castles and Historic Villages, where it is possible to hike on signposted trails, venture into Paragliding (in the neighboring Historic Village of Linhares) or cool off on the river beaches of Mondego and Zêzere. In the region, the gastronomic offer maintains the authenticity of the old days, with dishes such as goat with míscaros, Carqueja rice, pickled river fish and morcelas with greens, not to mention rye bread, excellent olive oil and Dão wine.
