Hut holiday rentals in Jurassic Coast

Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

We had the most idyllic stay at the Shepherds hut. Lots of lovely touches like fresh flowers and homemade cookies. Good sized super comfy bed. Generous garden with hammocks and lots of seating and fabulous wood fired hot tub. BBQ and fire pit completed the ultimate outdoor private space. Very peaceful and green, lots of birdsong and visiting robins. Great value for such a wonderful experience. We would definitely return here and recommend.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Came down for two nights and it was so peaceful and charming that we stayed for three. Juliet was really helpful throughout, the well stocked kitchen was a pleasant suprise and made the stay a dream, and waking up in that beautiful secluded little space with the birds singing was such a welcome break from out London home. The whole space felt very private and you can really relax there. It's not the easiest place to find, but Juliet's instructions were very helpful. We will definitely stay again if we're around the area Thanks Juliet!

Beautiful bespoke shepards hut. Very comfortable with everything you might need. Stunning location within easy reach of Beautiful seaside towns. Lovely personal touches like tea coffee, organic milk and a freshly made cake. Thank you very much

We had a wonderful family stay at Paul's AirBnB. The home is perfect for a family or friends trip. Great rooms, huge open plan kitchen/ living area and a larder for storage with washing machine/ dish washer. We honestly would give more than 5 stars if we could. If you're looking for a beautiful home, amazing views and great walks (or short drives) to local landmarks (or pubs!) then look no further. Our toddler (20 months) had a great time in the gated garden or using the New Forest as his play area, and was beside himself when the horses would walk right past the house. Paul was on hand to answer any questions we had, an excellent host! We'd absolutely stay again!

My partner and I had a gorgeous stay at the shepherds hut - it’s super cosy and in a beautiful spot! The hot tub was so lovely with wonderful views and the hosts have still managed to keep the area private. It was also wonderful to see all the lambs and ducks come to visit us each day! Tracy and James were fab hosts and we would definitely come back in the future!

THE most beautiful little cottage! Perfect for a trip to the Cotsworlds! We explored the upper part of the Cotsworlds on the first day, stayed in this airbnb and then did Laccock village, Castle Combe and Bath on the next day. Frank and Susan went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The dinner in the garden room was to die for! Delicious food and beautiful setting. Breakfast of pastries, juice, yogurt, fruit and muesli. Brownies on arrival. The little touches went such a long way! The two golden retrievers and bunnies were adorable! Thank you so much for such a memorable stay!

We booked a couple of days for my mums birthday. Tracys communication was brilliant throughout and we arrived to a birthday banner and balloons in the hut. This place is so lovely we will def be returning, the goats are so friendly and were a real highlight, not to mention the ducks running past throughout the day. This is a peaceful getaway, in beautiful surroundings. I cannot fault Tracy at all she is a really lovely lady and on hand should you need anything. The hut was very comfortable and warm with beautiful views to wake up to, including goats at my window! Which I loved!! Overall a wonderful relaxing couple of days and we will def be returning. This was the second time we stayed at the glorious little Acorn Hut. Again we were very warmly welcomed by the family and we had a perfect stay! We will go back again!

WOW- I can’t recommend this listing any more highly. Lou went above and beyond to make our stay special. The drive through her garden/farm to get to the accommodation felt magical, before witnessing the stunning Shepard’s hut. If you’re looking for a cute countryside retreat, this is the one for you. It was so peaceful having a few drinks in the fairly light lit hot tub, before crashing on the large king sized bed. 15 minute drive to cheddar gorge, and only 5 minutes to local pub (or 20 min walk). Lou was super responsive the whole trip and did whatever she could to make our stay feel special. We will definitely be returning next year (potentially with friends as she has another studio with space for 2 more people on a separate listing). Thanks so much :)

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

Claire was extremely hospitable and helpful and she made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and we were even allowed to feed the animals on the farm. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable and finished immaculately. The hot tub was even warm, ready for our arrival. We do lots of air b and b weekend breaks and this was definitely up there with the best of them. Exceptional value for money, we will definitely return one day.

A+++ Our stay at the gorgeous shepherds hut at Little Bow Green could not have been more delightful. The hut itself was immaculate and had everything you could want and need for a perfect and comfortable stay. The surroundings were peaceful and private which was perfect to enjoy the lovely hot tub in the evening. This is a special little place and we really enjoyed spending our silver wedding anniversary here. We really appreciated all the personal little touches, which included staples for breakfast, cider, and the most ridiculously amazing fruitcake of which we were lucky to be gifted some to take home. We loved every moment of our long weekend and would love to visit again in the future. Thanks so much Luca and Clare for your kind hospitality and making your place available for others to enjoy! We absolutely loved our 4 day stay at the Little Charred Hut, the location is idyllic right in the middle of the woods, near to a babbling brook, it's completely private with no neighbours or passing traffic, just the sound of the birds! The Hut itself has everything you need, it's very cosy with an extensive verandah (with 2 comfy rocking chairs) giving a feel of more sheltered space, which was great as the weather wasn't perfect the whole time. The surrounding area is so beautiful, and an easy drive away from so many beautiful places to explore. We'd highly recommend this gorgeous little place for an intimate stay in the midst of nature.

Myself, my husband and our pup stayed in Sharon and Johns beautiful Shepard’s hut for 2 nights. It was equipped with everything you need, the space was cosy and comfortable and very clean. We booked this hut at short notice and Chris was extremely quick to reply and allowed us both to stay despite being advertised as a one guest booking. We received a warm welcome from Chris and lots of information about the hut. The location was perfect, close to everything, walks and the town. Plenty of places to choose from to eat and drink. The hut was basic ( not a surprise as the description told us that) and was very clean and tidy. Lovely garden to sit in and enjoy the evening sunshine. A lovely one night stay. Thank you.

We had a peaceful stay in the gorgeous woody hut. The views were beautiful, the fire was lovely and Jackie was a great host. Me, my partner and our dog had the best time and would love to come back.

We had the most wonderful time at Danette’s shepherds hut. The views, wildlife and peace were incredible and the location was great for trips out with the dogs. We loved the attention to details in the hut, it made the experience very homely. Danette’s communication with us was great, she kept us up to date from start to finish. I am already looking forward to returning on our next trip!

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend for my wife’s birthday. Very cosy cabin with all the essentials. Really well located for day trips by car or by bike. A short walk to the Silver Hinde and Hare and Hounds in the village which were both great for dinner. Even though the cabin is on the farm it is tucked away with privacy. Amanda couldn’t have been more helpful and was in touch to see whether we needed more firewood for the hot tub or fire pit and offered to light the hot tub for us if we were out and about. Overall a great stay

A lovely time was had over the bank holiday weekend at The Nest. The hut was exactly as described and included everything that we needed as well as being comfortable and cosy. Both pubs within the area were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely local walk along the old railway line. We had a delicious roast lunch at the Spyway Inn which is just a short 10 minute drive from the hut with a lovely pub garden overlooking the Dorset countryside. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed by our hosts. The hot tub was a particular highlight and the perfect way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!
