Cottage with private beach and outdoor hot tub

Cottage in the middle of the forest, private beach. Inari is about 10km away. Electricity is, no tap water. A private well becomes cold water for the sauna, where you can get drinking water and washing water. The washing and dishwater needs to be heated. Compost toilet in the yard building. The guest must have experience in a cottage where there is no tap water or an indoor toilet, and must know how to heat the sauna with trees. You should bring your own linens and towels. In the summer, use of the hot tub is included in the rent, as well as a rowing boat. Directions to the property.

Outdoor hot tub, filled with spring water! It is easy to relax in this unique and peaceful holiday resort. You can reach the yard by car, about 50 min from the airport by car. The cottage has a brand new interior and a renovated sauna (with its own entrance) with an eco toilet, in summer only the outdoor eco toilet is in use. In addition, the atmosphere in the cottage is created by a fireplace and magnificent views of the lake. There is also no light pollution here, so you can watch the northern lights even while lounging in bed.

Our cottage is located in a unique quiet location, on the shore of a lake. Close to the wilderness of Lapland. It is still easily accessible by car. In the warmth of our cottage, it is easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature in the ever-changing landscape of large windows. Enjoy the silence and follow the course of nature. Admire the northern lights. Go ice fishing in the spring. In the summer, you can fish, row on the lake or take a dip in your own beach. Now also a barbecue hut-sauna at your disposal.

Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.
