Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Kabini River

woww!!! what a mesmerizing view that was, when we woke up (even if we had missed the sunrise). we had booked the morning glory and had an awesome private fireplace. the garden view and front view both were mesmerizing. I had also gone through all the reviews so already confirmed with host before going there, about bad locks and bad water but I found exactly how he described that they have fixed the issues and I found that the new locks have been added there and water was also not red. the only thing is wifi doesn't work in the rooms, but in common area it works smoothly. the jio network also doesn't work, so be prepared for that before itself. you will be in the lap of nature totally without any outside disturbance. Even we were thinking to go to ooty only to spend more days at this property just to chill, we couldn't stay this time more than a day. Regrets :(

It was a pleasant stay. the house was beautiful, clean and had old school charm with modern amenities.

Rainforest retreat is a beautiful getaway close to Madikeri. The Luna cottage is relatively easier to access than some of the other cottages in the plantation. There's plenty to do in and around the plantation - bird watching, hiking, learning about medicinal plants, etc. The food was excellent and Ravi Anna was very helpful and ensured that we had everything we needed. We would absolutely recommend Rainforest Retreat to anyone looking to spend more time in nature and enjoy organic food and a sustainable way of living.

Great place to stay, me and my friend had a great time. the care takers were also good and try to resolve most of our Needs. Food was good. long story short, no complaints about the place and would love to go there again with friends or family. If possible book both the rooms it give you good privacy as it will be only you in the property.

A lovely place to absorb sights and sounds of nature : wake up with the sound of cock crowing in mornings with warm sunlight stream into the bedroom window, clean and fresh air, views of coffee estates around the property. The mini farm/zoo is definitely a plus point making the place family friendly. It was a wonderful stay with good food and excellent hosts.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Souland. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, offering mouth watering home cooked food and checking in to ensure everything was perfect throughout. The space itself was nothing short of beautiful—immaculately clean and thoughtfully decorated with an eye for detail. Every corner of the home had a cozy, aesthetic charm that made it the perfect place to relax. It was clear that a lot of care went into creating a comfortable and inviting environment. It was very serene. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-cared-for retreat with exceptional hosts. All in all, it was perfect and we enjoyed it tons. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

beautiful stay, in case you want to be in the city. the place is situated right in the middle and close to all the touristy places. our intention from the trip was to relax with good authentic Kodava food( please check our Coorgcuisine, which is 5 minutes from the homestay) Monthi aunty is a wonderful host and treated us with the best and utmost sincere hospitality. The rooms are ultra clean and we can ask her for anything and she will help us out. the homestay itself has a beautiful garden and waking up to such beauty is wat one needs on a vacation. She has two dogs of her own, who are caged. we prefer dogs sleeping with us and we found that a bit difficult to digest. but then, it was her home and we couldn't say much. Overall, a good experience.

Very calm and nice property, food was delicious and the caretaker was very sweet. latha was always there to help. great view of the valley and all amenities available .

Great property with beautiful ambience to stay.

The property aptly matched the description and is located in a very calm and peaceful environment with very good accessibility. All the required amenities are available to suit short and long term stays. The host, was jovial, responsive and accommodative. I would highly recommend this property for any one visiting mysore and looking for a cordial stay.

Good place

It was awesome to stay in this resort in the middle of a beautiful landscape. The owner of the resort, Mr.Pradeep was extremely hospitable and He took care of all our needs at all times and ensured that we remained at ease. He helped us readily at all the times, even during late , it is located at an appropriate distance from all the scenic beauties around. There are lot of games to play, including cricket, football, carrom, chess, badminton etc. It feels like heaven to wake up at early mornings, when the mist is at its peak. The authentic complimentary kerala breakfast, that they offer is delicious. Vamp fire with party music was the highlight of accommodation to have fun until late night. Separate kitchen is also available to cook non vegetarian food. For a family members of 20 people, you got all the facilities to cook and enjoy the delicacy. Overall, I would recommend this resort readily to all of my friends who might visit wayanad.

Our stay at Stumpfields Honeysuckle was truly memorable! Nestled in beautiful natural surroundings, the place offers a peaceful retreat with lush greenery all around. The European-style architecture adds a charming touch, making the entire experience feel like a getaway in the countryside. The breakfast was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. We also loved the friendly dog on the property, who made our stay even more special. Hari, the manager, was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooms and common areas were spotless, which we really appreciated. That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. If you’re coming in a four-wheeler, the road leading up is quite rough. The staircase to the first floor felt a little risky, so caution is needed. Also, the water in the shower was a bit muddy at times. Very nice and cozy case. Beautiful surroundings. Right in the lap of nature. You will enjoy if you want to have time off and relax. Sashi was very helpful and just a call away in case you need anything. Just one suggestion: infrastructure of the rooms can be improved.

I’d booked myself in here for my week in Mysore and I’m so happy I did, it was the perfect place for me. I even extended my stay by one extra night to catch one of the activities running there. Hopefully I’ll be back in Gokulam and I know where I’ll be staying. Ideal location, great food at excellent prices and always served with a smile. I did the yoga every morning, excellent guidance and encouragement. I enjoyed reading my book in the peaceful garden. Thanks Aditya and team for the friendly welcome.

The moment I booked the room, I got a call from Najeeb sir and Ayisha Mam, to understand our tour plan and guided us accordingly. We went to Chembrapeak, Banasura Sagar dam but it is not as scenic as the view from this home. we especially enjoyed the retreat of the Moon behind the high-raised mountains.   Our entire family melted with the hospitality and affection of Ayisha mam and Najeeb sir.   Thank you so much Ayisha mam and Najeeb sir for making our trip memorable, I am certain we will not have such a trip unless we come here.
