Beachfront holiday rentals in Kainuu

A great base for a couple of days of skiing. There were five adults and three children, and the space was great. Everything in the apartment exudes quality, and the details are thoughtfully thought out. The kitchen is very well-stocked, plenty of dishes and didn't have to be doing the dishes all the time. A separate sauna building is a nice addition to the space with stunning scenery. We would have loved to stay longer, great listing!

A great place to stay as a base for a snowmobile trip, why not for any other use. Not a luxury home, but there's everything you need and the price/quality ratio is very good! I'll definitely be back.

The property is in a great location. The host responded to messages quickly. The space is relatively clean, well-equipped, and cozy. The trampoline in the yard was a pleasant surprise for a toddler. Minimize the dog's feces in the yard lawn, where the toddler dirty their shoes-it's probably the neglect of previous guests, and not the cottage renter's fault :)

Great place, only the outdoor sauna is missing

We had an incredible stay at Esko’s place! The location is absolutely stunning, right by the lake, offering breathtaking views and the perfect setting for relaxation. Esko recommended fishing, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience for us. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, providing the most peaceful nights we’ve ever had—ideal for a good night’s sleep. The house itself is cozy and felt just like home. When we arrived, the house was already warm and welcoming, which we deeply appreciated. The location is also very convenient, with close proximity to larger cities like Rovaniemi, Oulu, and Kajaani. It’s also near ski resorts. Having sauna is amazing A short drive away, the town of Puolanka offers everything you might need. Additionally, there’s excellent connectivity in the area, so we had no issues accessing mobile internet during our stay. We highly recommend Esko’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Comfortable little cottage with good location. We found everything we needed in the cottage.

This place is truly extraordinary. The lake view can be admired from anywhere in the house, including the sauna. Everything was perfect—Lassi welcomed us and gave us a brief introduction to what the accommodation offers, and then we enjoyed a hot sauna with an amazing view. As a bonus, Lassi stocked the fridge with local beer, which we thoroughly enjoyed. In conclusion, this place is worth staying at, whether you're just passing through for a night or looking for a peaceful, longer vacation by the lake.

The place was great, with a wonderful location that made everything convenient. The best part was the ski-in, ski-out access for both cross country skiing as well as downhill. Highly recommended for ski lovers ⛷️!

Beautiful and cozy house in the middle of nature! After a warm welcome by Harri and Tuula we had a great time in snowy Finland. We had everything we needed for a week to calm down and relax. Big recommendation!

We returned to spend the New Year in Willa Hilla and had a great time at the cottage again. The cottage has all the settings in order. Despite the cold weather, we went outdoors and admiring the nearby nature: the scenery was stunning! It got to surprise us a little with the heating of the cars, but Anne Maarit and the neighbors helped us very quickly. Thanks again! :)

Nice, peaceful setting. It took a bit of time to get used to the rhythms of the place (no running water), but it was comfortable once we settled in Timo was very responsive and helpful.
