Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a relatively new log villa in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and airy. There is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen downstairs. There is plenty of space and sleeping places in the loft. A new lakeside sauna and terrace will be built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the comforts of modernity, and the large windows open up to a great lake view in two directions. In the heat of the fireplace, it's nice to watch the aurora borealis and listen to the silence. There are no neighbours nearby.

Now a lonely fisherman's dream home. It's not ruined with modern-day amenities more than getting electricity in the fridge. And if needed, charged by the phone. Well, maybe an electric light can be brought here in the dark of the fall... There is an outdoor toilet and drinking water is supplied. More can be fetched from the neighbour. Heat is provided by a drill mat, and the sauna can be raised with a bucket of water from the lake. It's also possible to replace that ball grill with gas for use. There is no shower, but well water comes inside the sauna. Drinking water is brought in. The toilet is an outdoor toilet and there is a chamber pot inside if necessary

Completed in 2014, our cottage is located in Paljakka, close to ski trails and mountain bike trails. The cottage's facilities are located on two floors. The glass railed terrace, which is the width of the entire cabin, gives you the opportunity to sense the peace of nature in both winter and summer. In the yard there is a wood storage, a campfire place and a hot tub. A lot to use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are prohibited. Distances: Tourist center in Ukkoha 26 km. Shops: Puolanka center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.

The sleeping area of the cottage has a double bed, and the living room has a wooden sofa and a wooden bed. Private beach in the yard. Wood stove and water pot in the yard sauna, which offer a traditional sauna experience. The cottage is equipped with electricity. No running water. Owner will supply drinking water. In the cottage, there is a freezing toilet (Ekohytte).

Taikaloora cottage is an idyllic and cozy cottage on the shore of Lake Oulujärvi in Finland. It lies a short walk away from the ameneties of Vaala's town center. The cottage includes a small kitchen, bathroom, living room and an open bedroom. Just beside the cottage is an idyllic lakeside sauna with amazing view to the Lake Oulujärvi. NOTE: Cleaning fee of 90,- will be charged if the guests don't clean the cottage to the same condition it was while arriving.

Small, modest round log cabin with one room, a kitchenette and a sauna (wood-fired stove), as well as an outdoor toilet. In the cottage, there is a wood-burning stove. In the courtyard, there is also a separate barn building (no sleeping accommodation) and a wooden annexe. Good location right on the banks of the Livojoki River, in a quiet area. At the cottage, the beach is pebbly; further up the river, the bottom is sandy. Excellent fishing opportunities!

You light the sauna, pump water from the lake, and cook on gas or an open fire at the laavu. Note: this stay requires basic outdoor skills. You must be comfortable making fires, bringing your own sheets and drinking water, and doing the final cleaning before checkout.
