Loved my 2 nights at Batley The Bach is well equipped with everything required for a peaceful restful stay without the distraction of TV etc. Loved the low tide walks around the coast, the birdlife and jumping fish! 'Love at the end of the road' book gives an insightful look into the interesting history of the area. Thank you Rae and Rex for sharing this magical secret spot.

Dog friendly Great spot! So peaceful and quiet. Small beach out front that my pup loved exploring. The room is simple with all basic needs. Very much enjoyed our stay

A special tranquil gem with lakeside access! A very private and quiet place to ‘just relax’ and recharge. I had a fantastic nights sleep and sat outside in the morning sun enjoying my breakfast. Chloe the Lab popped by to make sure I was all settled in (beautiful). The place is very well set up, well equipped and so very private and relaxing. Thank you Christa & Hank. Beautiful little cabin, felt very private and peaceful. The separate bathroom really isn't an issue and just adds to the charm.

This house was absolutely perfect for our needs. A great location just a short stroll from a stunning beach. We like that there are no shops etc in Lang's Beach but still plenty to do with kyaks and boogie boards provided by the host as well as keys to the local private tennis courts. The layout of the house makes it perfect for families travelling with older children with a large rumpus/bedroom space upstairs and two double bedrooms downstairs. Lots of deck space for outdoor living set amongst beautiful native bush. The interior of the house is a little tired but perfectly clean and comfortable. Liz was a fantastic host. Very responsive with clear instructions.

Beautiful and well-kept place! Catherine was amazingly helpful and responsive and was able to adjust our booking when our flights got cancelled and shifted the dates of our stay. Extremely peaceful and a great deal all around, we hope to visit and stay again in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cabin—the view was nice, and we truly enjoyed our time here. It was a great escape from the city. James was very helpful and responded quickly. Our puppy absolutely loved it too! He explored the cabin right away and had a blast chasing his ball in the open area. We recommend it for both humans and furry friends!

Had a great time spotting the rabbits and pukekohes in the morning :) It was an easy place to find and had everything needed for a short stay. Thank you for having us!

Amazing place to stay, easy enough to get to and not too far down the gravel road, but feels super secluded and incredibly peaceful. The treehouse is up the hill from the main house, and all you see from the balconies is lush bush. It was clearly built with great care and attention to detail and maintained in the same way. Has all the cooking gear, coffee, kettle, etc., you need. I cannot recommend it enough and will struggle to find anywhere else to match it.

We stayed at this beautiful getaway and were able to enjoy a few days of relaxing in a beautiful part of Aotearoa . It was extremely private and secluded, a perfect spot for some peace and quiet whilst still being extremely luxurious and close to Auckland.

We had a lovely 2 night stay - quiet, private and tranquil with beautiful views of rolling hills and paddocks. Kelly is an excellent communicator and swift to assist. Everything is as described; the listing descriptions are well-crafted with honesty and integrity. Happy to have found this place and would recommend to others!

Kathryn’s place was amazing! We loved our stay. I couldn’t believe how well stocked it was. Everything we needed was there. It was extremely comfortable. The hospitality was so welcoming and we felt right at home. The view and the serenity take the cake though. Not often you get ocean, mountains, pastures, cows etc all at one place. Definitely recommend.

My stay at this tiny house was absolutely wonderful! The place was incredibly peaceful, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. It was spotless and well-maintained, making it feel very comfortable and inviting. The communication with the host was seamless and hassle-free. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view, which made the stay even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and relaxing getaway!

From very detailed instructions for arrival, and a prepared fire waiting for me, my short stay at this modern luxe cabin was amazing! The beautiful surroundings of this picture perfect landscape with the birdlife and friendly dog Pipi, I felt relaxed, and at home straight away. The cabin itself is a very clever space, such a excellent design, with natural wood and a very well equipped kitchen, the bed was divinely comfortable and the little private deck was a haven! This one is on my Favs!

Lovely bach in a beautiful location overlooking the water. Loved the decor. The bach is well appointed with books and games for a rainy day and kayaks for a sunny day out on the water. We loved the weekend we spent there.

Loved our stay at Gayle’s place - the view is stunning and the space is beautiful and private. We didn’t want to leave! Would definitely come here again and stay longer if we could.

We stayed at Anne’s lovely cottage for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it . The beds are super comfy so we slept like a dream. The location is beautiful. Nicely nestled into the hill over looking the bay and only a short stroll to the beach and a short drive to the other beautiful bays in the area. The cottage has an everything you need and is spotlessly clean. I haven’t relaxed so much in ages. I think the giant bed with the gorgeous view has a lot to do with it . Anne is super lovely too. Perfect for us in every way.

Had the most peaceful stay at Riders Rest, the 2 cabins were clean, cozy, we felt right at home. Carolyn is really lovely and so attentive! Bonnie and Lucky were the cutest bonus’s. I wish I had booked a longer stay.

This place is a perfect getaway. It has everything you need. Full kitchen, grill, king size bed. The place is very comfortable. You can take kayaks and paddle around or go to the great remote beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vinkal’s place! The accommodation was clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Vinkal was an excellent host, warmly welcoming us and giving us a tour of their beautiful garden, which made the experience even more special. We also made use of the BBQ, with all the necessary equipment already provided. The whole stay exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend Vinkal’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway! 10/10

Exquisite location with incredible views. Anneke was a lovely host; very accommodating and responsive. Her cottage felt like home with all the added touches. Hard to say goodbye to this piece of paradise.
