Waterfront holiday rentals in Kalamaki Beach

We loved it! A couple of suggestions: Would be helpful to tell guests that they will park behind the building and enter the apartment from the back, not the front of the building.. Would be nice to have a lounge chair for the balcony.

Lovely and pretty house near the sea, feet in the water. we had a great time, ideal for resting. On the other hand, you need a car to get around and schedule visits and the visits are far away. The accommodation was very clean and our host very responsive. We will come back for sure

A chic room with really everything you could need - from the balcony a beautiful view of the sea and the small harbor, just a few meters to the nearest cafes and taverns ... on the beach everything was very pleasant, the village behind seemed less "beautiful" to us, but the location is good for great excursions on the south coast and into the mountains.

Great place to stay, huge terrace with 360° views of the sea and the mountains in the background. Living room with kitchen and bed, a second separate room that we used as a dressing room and a separate bathroom with shower. The accommodation is well equipped, with all the necessary utensils, such as fully equipped kitchen, towels, outdoor furniture. Although construction is done next door, the location is very quiet and easily accessible by car restaurants and shopping opportunities. In the middle of nature. Communication with Cretan Hospitality was always pleasant and very accommodating. We would come back anytime! Thank you so much for this great stay!

We had the perfect holidays in Kyralakis’ apartment. The biggest advantage is location - almost on the beach, with beautiful sea view and incredible sunsets. It’s the perfect place to have some rest and take a breathe. Moreover, at the end of October the weather was really good - warm and sunny and the beach was almost empty! I strongly recommend this apartment.

The apartment is clean and well furnished, good parking space. Five seconds to the beach from the apartment. While staying there a more serious technical problem occurred in the house, which probably could have happened in any other property. The owners responded quickly and were very willing to solve the problem right away. I appreciate the activity of the owners. Value for money is great, if I ever go to Crete again, I would want to stay here.

Maria and Michael were warm and generous hosts. They gave us fruit and fine Greek specialties. They maintained contact and were very helpful with questions. The apartment is well furnished and there was nothing missing. From the large terrace you can enjoy fantastic sunrises and sunsets and the rushing sea with the long beach can be reached in 2 minutes. Kalamaki is also a great location for hikes and to get to know the region. We would immediately spend our stay in this apartment again. Thank you very much, it was a wonderful time.

Petra Mare was one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited! Wonderful view, amazing pool for the kids! The place was really close to the most tropical beaches of southern Rethymno! A special thanks to our host Babis for his kindness and eagerness to help!

We had a great week at this house at the sea. Our boys loved it. We will come back.

Great place to stay with a wonderful terrace where we felt very comfortable, with access to the small village beach.

The Kima House is a very nice apartment. The kitchen has everything you need (two hotplates, oven, two different coffee machines, dishes, cutlery, pots, etc.). The car can be parked in the grounds of the house. There is a large terrace or garden area where you can lie, sit, eat and enjoy the sunset. We were very warmly welcomed by Irakli's family with wine and fruit and always got a new specialty to try. It was a very family atmosphere. You have a direct view of the sea and the beach is a 2-minute walk away. In 5 minutes you are in the center of the village with restaurants, bakery, supermarket.

This place is a little gem! It was fantastically beautiful to wake up to the sounds of the sea, drink the first coffee on the small balcony, then have breakfast overlooking the sea, bathe in the sea (it's really only a few steps on a private path to the beach), reading on a lounger on the terrace in the shade, cooking (the kitchen is well equipped) or eating delicious in a restaurant in the evening. My husband and I loved the peace and seclusion of this little village. In the small mom and pop shop there is everything you need for cooking, for the bathroom or small souvenirs. I would like to emphasize and praise the communication with Nikolas, who was always friendly, helpful and quick. When we arrived at the apartment, we were greeted with bread, milk, a filled fruit basket, wine, water and because we were there over Easter, a few Easter eggs. We have rarely felt at home so quickly and would very much like to come back.

Our stay at Apostoli and Maria's place was fantastic. The cosy house is in the centre of Lendas just a few steps from the main square (where you can park), the taverna and the beach. Everything inside was perfect and clean: the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for cooking, a large fridge, an oven and a washing machine. As we were there in March and there was nothing open, Maria provided us with lots of food: fresh vegetables and fruit, pites, everything for breakfast (tea, coffee, sugar, jam and honey from their production, biscuits...). There were also vases of beautiful, colorful fresh flowers in the house. A wonderful and warm welcome! The house is divided into two rooms connected by the external patio but no problem: we were able to have breakfast and eat at the large table on the patio even though it was March. We communicated with Maria and Apostoli by phone and email and they were always very kind and helpful. We hope to return and meet them in person!

We stayed at Georgio's place for a month and where truly happy with our choice! The house is just like at the pics, and I would say even better. It has all you need to feel at home and is very well kept. You get to the sea in just a couple of minutes, the beach being very well organised and never over-crowded. Lot's of cafes and shops, all open up till night. For travelling around you would need a car, the rental opportunities being offered in abundance all throughout the place. The village itself is very secluded, and quiet, and peaceful. Just the perfect place for families. It was super easy to stay in touch with the host. They helped us with ordering the taxi from the airport and were flexible to accommodate the check-in to our timing when our flight was severely delayed. In short, it has been a great experience, and I'd fully recommend this place!

I am so happy to have come across this place! Everything is super thoughtfully decorated and the balcony with sea and rock views is the absolute highlight!!! I spent a lot of time there, even with food. When the Aircon left and I reported this to Eva, she immediately called a technician who immediately fixed it, a wonderful service! The price of the accommodation is absolutely cheap in this great residential area! You are right in the middle of it (which is also great!), but you can retreat very well... I could stay there forever and have a firm plan to come back here! Thank you Eva, also for the nice souvenirs that I can continue to enjoy at home... ;-)

The apartment is just a few steps from the beach and from our balcony we had a wonderful view of the Libian Sea. Falling asleep with the sound of the sea in my ears is what I liked most.

Lovely spacious clean flat with amazing view. Host very responsive and helpful. In winter months need to drive for shops, restaurants etc but car parking readily available outside apartment.

Very nice place in a great location right on the beach promenade. Tastefully decorated, dishwasher and washing machine are also provided. Two balconies in the east and west, you always had shade or sun. Maria was super nice, expected us and instructed us. Thanks for the great stay!

We had a wonderful time at the apartment and really recommend it.

First of all, Kalamaki is a sweet beach spot. Though the town is rather small, you’ll find everything you need (Supermarket, Cafés, Beach Bars, Restaurants, Bakeries etc.) Anna’s place is located right at the beach and Kalamaki’s main “square” ( It’s so small, it hardly qualifies as a square 😂). The apartment is well equipped, spacious and very clean. We loved it so much, we did come back a second time! All in all, highly recommended and definitely a very modern place to stay at!
