You can spend time with your family and friends without worrying about other people. An inn in nature where you can see the starry sky at night and wake up to the sound of birds in the morning. There are hot springs nearby [Yunomine, Kawayu, Watarase (free shuttle service)]. We offer light meals, drinks, etc. Breakfast includes bread, eggs, etc. You can also order various bento boxes (for a fee). You can bring in your own food. BBQ tools are also available for rent for a fee. Please let us know when you book. Feel free to use the kitchen. Guest House Agae is a renovated traditional house that can only accommodate one group at a time. It is in a very convenient location, about 550 m (about 7 minutes on foot) to Kumano Kodo and Kinkou Oji, a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and restaurants (Shoji Teahouse and Tororo-ya). The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate your questions and advice about walking the Kumano Kodo, as well as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. We can also provide personal guides, so please let us know. Prices do not include meals. Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Nostalgic Beach House A private guesthouse in Nigishima, Kumano City, facing the calm Nigishima Bay. To reach it, climb about 50 steps (5 min) for a rewarding view. *Note: not suitable for those with limited mobility. There is no TV or clock—disconnect and relax. *Extra fee applies for 2+ guests. For safety, a motion-sensor camera is at the entrance; it only takes still photos when someone passes, never continuous video, ensuring privacy.

We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
