Heart Pine Cabin: Quaint & intimate w/view

Your cozy getaway awaits at the newly-constructed and welcoming Heart Pine Cabin at the Benedict Haid Farm. This 1860s hand-hewn log cabin was relocated from its original location 15 mi away, painstakingly restored & fitted with all new modern conveniences while retaining its character. It was featured on the “Barnwood Builders” television show & has some of the widest log faces of Appalachian log cabins. It has a spacious master BR & a queen bed on the open loft overlooking the living area.

It features a large, historic 1860s hand-hewn log home on 400-acres, adjoining 10,000 acres of undeveloped corporate property. This is a nice place to get away for a while, or host a small retreat. The nearest commercial building is six miles away. :-) UPDATE August 2022: New cell phone booster system installed! It provides good, usable service for AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile Users.

River Breeze Townhouse

River Breeze is a 3 bedroom townhome on the river in Glen Ferris, WV. You will have 3 queen size beds and the sofa can also be made into a full size bed with storage under the lounge chair. A bbq grill is provided for your convenience. Internet Wi-Fi is included. There are 3 different areas to launch your kayaks 2-4 minutes from your rental as well as a dock to fish next to the parking lot built by the church beside you.
