“This is a beautiful, serene house in the mountains of West Virginia. The highlights were the big deck, fire pit, and spaciousness of the house which makes you feel like you’re in a Western cabin but on the East Coast. The proximity to hiking and kayaking were also great. Tony was easy to work with. In any case, there wasn’t anything we needed to contact him about as it was quite self explanatory.”

“Shelly and Chris’s place was a perfect getaway for two with unparalleled access to the world class recreation in this part of West Virginia. The animals were a ton of fun to observe and visit with, especially after reading each animal’s cute narrative in the welcome manual. The rooster and peacock’s calls might bother some, but for me it was comforting and brought me back to my rural roots. My girlfriend was glad to use the ear plugs thoughtfully provided by Shelly. We were so lucky to find this unique Airbnb and we’ve recommended it to several friends already!”
This a sweet 2 bedroom bungalow. Ideal for lovers, or a quiet beautiful environment for a retreat. Rooster has 1 full bath. Living room with satellite TV, wood burning stove fireplace, wood provided , fully equipped kitchen, dining table, linens and paper goods furnished. Large deck looking out on Cacapon Mountain. Hot tub off master bedroom deck in trees, feels like a tree house. Most mornings a mist rises up from river, about half mile away as crow flies, access point about a mile.
“We wanted to get away, and this space was just what we hoped it would be. Loved having the place to ourselves. Not “roughing it” in the least, but still very quiet and secluded. You have to make a 15 minute drive for food or to do anything in town, but the roads and views on that drive add to the experience. The house is clean, well-decorated, and well-equipped with great features like TV, hot tub, and COVERED DECK. The bug-free screened in deck was probably our favorite place to be, and the ceiling fans kept it cool. Jim was professional, helpful, responsive, and hospitable. This stay is a great value we highly recommend. If we come back to the Berkeley Springs/Great Cacapon area we know where we’re staying!”
