Sea-n-Stars @ Second Valley

CharmaineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Jane’s place is situated up a hill outlooking a beautiful hill and seascape. The beach is approximately a km walk and is small, unique and safe for fishing ,snorkelling ,kayaking or for little ones to swim .. can get very crowded in summer or on public holidays ,but other times you can enjoy the beach almost to yourself.. plenty of squid from the jetty and lots of interesting history. The home is a comfy beach shack and feels homely.

Blue Wren at magical Second Valley beach

SeungkyuRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The property had two separate spaces, which was perfect for accommodating both early sleepers and those who wanted to stay up late. The town itself was peaceful, and its proximity to the jetty made it ideal for fishing. The place was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Coastal Family Getaway

AiseRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We staying in Normanville recently for a Nippers Carnival and had the best weekend away. The beds were comfy, house clean and well maintained and our host was super responsive to our messages. I would highly recommend this place to others for a family weekend away. The gaming table and large lawn were hits for our kids. Thank you

Charming Cottage & detached Guesthouse

CarmenRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We could accommodate our family and freinds, great having the seperate studio and backyard with lawn. Lots of off street parking in the driveway. Decor was very suited to the cottages and tasteful. It looked just like the photos. Comfortable beds and pillows, no one complained. It was in a great location for us as its short walking distance to the bakery and Pizza bar. A 2 minute drive to Bungala House which that the reason we stayed. It's took us aprox 5 min to get to Normanville. All in all we loved it. If I had to pick out a negative it would be we needed more tiolet paper as not enough for all of us and we could of had a couple of extra tea towels. Thanks Emma, we will be back!

Yankalilla Foothills Retreat

LeonaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We enjoyed our two night stay at Inge’s place. We were babysitting my young grandson - his first ever sleepover away from his parents - they were staying nearby in Yankalilla. We had some challenges with this house and a toddler - but it would have been the same anywhere else too. The kitchen drawers were a great source of play materials and most things needed to be removed. He also loved to remove the solar lights until I put them out of his reach. The photos showed a high chair but that’s no longer there. I think when he’s a bit older this place would be wonderful for him. Also probably I’d go in winter when there’s no snake danger. I loved the peaceful and scenic environment and another time I’d like to explore it more. The house is spacious and comfortable but not luxurious. It was wonderful for the dog too and lovely to be able to have her there. I’d love to come back maybe without my grandson. The deck area was lovely and will be even better when the wisteria grows more.

Thank you for letting us stay at your place. Such a beautiful location, easy walk to everything local, great views. Quality fittings throughout. We had a full house in all 3 bedrooms - a very well stocked kitchen for so many people. Everyone commented on how comfy the beds and pillows were. We’ll certainly be back❤️

Pisces - Seaside serenity

KylieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Plenty of space in this house - large bedrooms and tv in main room. Missed not having electric blankets or a dishwasher but the house stay warm enough with the heater in the ceiling of the main room. Interesting how both the main bathroom and ensuite were at the same end of the house. A secure backyard if we had taken our dogs with us. No beach view but lovely to see/hear a variety of birds.

Saltbush Farm | Coastal Luxury on the Land

NinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an incredible getaway at Gabi and Jim’s accommodation! This place was worth every single penny and my group had the most wonderful stay. It felt luxurious from the first moment we pulled up to the property. The photos do not do this location justice. The house was spacious, it had every single possible amenity we could need, the kitchen was big, the bedrooms were comfortable, the outdoor space was fabulous to relax in. The pool was a winner though, heated, an incredible view at sunset, watching kangaroos hop by. We really couldn’t have stayed at a better place, it was such a lovely treat. Thank you for such a relaxing weekend, it won’t be forgotten and I would absolutely stay again.

Great location for us golfers. Good house layout for us. Plenty of books, pool table and table tennis board. Didn't spend a lot of time there because we had the Australian Senior Golf Tounament, but it was good to sit on the balcony and admire the view.

The Rusty Shak

TravisRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This was the perfect little getaway, less than an hour from Adelaide and we really felt we had escaped the city hussle and bustle. The most beautifully presented little shack, katrina has thought of absolutely everything! From a bottle of wine, biscuits, bread and breakfast basket, cereals etc, there was nothing she hadn't thought of. Beautiful scenery, kangaroos and the most beautiful outdoor area with fire pit and outside bath.(you have to soak in the bath!) We bought our small dog with us and it was perfect. Thank you Katrina, we had the best time, would've loved to stay another night. We'll definitely be back, love your little place!😊🍷🏡

One of the best Air B&B’s we’ve stayed in. Lovely home only 4 minute walk to the beach. Perfect space for chilled evenings in after a busy day exploring the coast. Libby was a very attentive and friendly host.

Tilly's Rest - Escape to Kangaroo Island

BellaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Beautiful cosy stay in Vivonne Bay! The tiny home is well furnished and stylish with lots of thoughtful touches. Great sized bathroom and kitchen for the two of us. Extremely comfortable bed and sleep. Had a lovely stay, would recommend going to the rock pool at the end of the jetty! Remember to bring all your food and that you can only have a fire in winter months ☺️

Quiet and beautiful Carrickalinga

AndreasRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great place for a stay at the seaside town of Carrickalinga. All the kitchen tools we needed and then some. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The garden could have done with a bit of trimming and a decent watering, but it's been a dry year. It should be noted that Carrickalinga is a "Dark Sky" town. Just step outside and look up and admire the Milky Way.
