Approximately 4 meters above the ground, surrounded by green leaves, you can only feel comfortable. A day in the tree house (without the luxury of everyday life) slows you down incredibly. You shouldn't expect luxury, but rather an adventure and the challenge of getting by with little. With stick bread by the campfire and an evening view from the tree house into the starry sky, you can escape everyday life.

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard on Bottschlotter See. The Old Canoe Hous is a lovingly furnished, open 130 square meter apartment in our thatched-roof barn with a view of the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marsh. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can fish, canoe, cycle around the accommodation and watch the flocks of birds that use the lake, which is partly a nature reserve, as a migration and nesting site. The lake is used for windsurfing and wingfoiling.

2-room apartment/south balcony on the 3rd floor of an apartment building with elevator on the northern edge of Westerland's center. 2 minutes' walk to the beach just behind the dunes. 5 minutes to the Syltness Center/spa center, to the swimming pool (wave pool, sports pool, slide, sauna area). The pedestrian zone is within walking distance of approx. 8 minutes from the apartment. The train station is about 17 minutes away.

Our newly renovated apartment is located in a beautiful thatched roof house with garden and its own beach chair. From the apartment in the historic captain's village of Keitum on Sylt you can reach the Wadden Sea, a supermarket, many restaurants, bars, playgrounds, small boutiques and shops on foot. Keitum is a beautiful, picturesque village with many thatched houses - just like ours.
