Its reverse level living area boasts a log burner, and the kitchen features modern appliances. Outside are two private decked areas, the larger lower deck has a Mediterranean feel and overlooks the communal gardens & fields beyond, equipped with outdoor furniture 7 a chimnea where guests can use their own portable BBQs.

The hut is surrounded by beautiful countryside, lovely beaches and wildlife with beautiful starry skies by night. There are plenty of walks nearby including the south west coast path, all within a 10-15 minute drive. There are footpaths direct from the hut heading along the lanes back towards Kingsbridge and towards Salcombe.

The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. It is situated just a short walk from the SW coastal path and a mile from the outstanding beaches of East Portlemouth and the vibrant seaside town of Salcombe, across the harbour. Nick and Sameena your hosts have recently taken over hosting themselves and will do their very best to make your stay a happy and relaxed time.

We are surrounded by beautiful countryside with plenty of walks and great pubs nearby. It is located in a small hamlet near Chillington - it's rural so a car is essential. We are a 10 minute drive from the South West Coastal Path, and Beesands Torcross beaches. For walkers of the coastal path, we offer a pick-up drop-off service. Please message for details.

A king-size bed and a single bed for a third guest, and a gorgeous bathroom with a newly added heated towel rail. The apartment is private with its own front door, an outside courtyard and the pool a stroll away that looks over the sea and our three acres of garden to relax in. It is ideally located for exploring the beautiful South Hams.

Beesands with its renowned pub & fish restaurant and the coastal path are less than a mile away. The barn is situated approx. 6 miles from Kingsbridge and 8 miles from Dartmouth. Salcombe is easily reached by foot ferry from East Portlemouth 5 miles away.
