It's 12 minutes walk to Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants, and 5 minutes to our local pub, the 'Riflemans Arms'.

Kendal Castle minutes away, a nearby hotel offers pool and gym. Kendal hosts Brewery Arts Centre, one of leading arts centres in the UK. Parking is in front of the house. Welcoming guests from all nationalities, faiths and backgrounds, sadly no pets in the cottage. Children welcome with books/games/ toys adapted to age.
