Holiday rentals with a kayak in Kennebec County

Extremely peaceful and relaxing! The rental is more like a home than a cottage/camp with its recent tasteful, pleasing, and very functional renovations (the flooring was well done and looked great; the mini-split system made it very comfortable even when it was in the 90’s; and, the new furnishings were attractive and comfortable). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

I love coming to Maine, and this was my first time staying at Rob's place—it was beautiful! Rob was more than accommodating and incredibly hospitable. The home is gorgeous, super clean, cozy, and very private. The game room was such a fun bonus! It was the perfect little getaway. Thank you so much, Rob, for everything! I will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future visits!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

This is an awesome house on East Pond. Dock, swimming platform, kayaks, paddle boat, fire pit. View of distant mountains from the dock. East Pond is clear and large. We saw several eagles. Osprey and loons are ever present. Mark was a great host with excellent communication. Arrival was quite flexible. Home is comfortable and well equipped.

We had an amazing time over valentines day weekend. There was a snow storm and Kent snow blowed around our vehicle to make sure we could get out. The house is very comfortable and peaceful, amazing view of the river and just off the road enough to not be bothered by passing traffic. Definitely recommend!!!!

Our group of friends and family really enjoyed staying at this peaceful winter getaway house! We are already talking about coming back up in the summertime. The toys and games made my kids so happy and kept them well-entertained. Perfect amount of space for our big group! Lori was flexible and responsive, a wonderful host! Thank you again 🛷

Beautiful setting on the lake. Clean, neat and cozy. Bed was SO comfortable! Loved the electric fireplace. WiFi worked great which is helpful in a spot where reception is patchy. Keurig and pods available. Thank you for a perfect spot to enjoy a weekend in Maine. We will try to return in summer!

This was a really nice house on a beautiful lake. The beds were comfortable and there were enough to accommodate us. It was very clean and easy to enjoy your stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the cottage for about a week in late September and it was a perfect spot to get away from it all. The house is on a serene pond with trees reflected on the water, classic Maine. The cottage was clean and well kept with most everything you’d need. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood, so not a party spot, which worked out fine for our quiet family. We’d consider coming back to visit family. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

Lilla stugga is a beautiful property with all of the lake life amenities you could need. The location is very peaceful and private with amazing sunsets and lakefront. The outdoor shower was an added bonus! Hosts were super responsive and helpful with my questions. Highly recommend for a Maine lake getaway!

We had an amazing time at Will and Deborah's cabin! They were really great host, responding very quickly to any messages and answering all our questions. This is really the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Beautiful lake views, available kayak and paddle board, fire pit with provided wood and even things to make s'mores! Really couldn't have asked for a better experience. The cabin itself is cozy and clean and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Would recommend if you're looking for a relaxing weekend. Thank you again!

What a peaceful and beautiful location! Our family enjoyed having a cozy place to come home to after a weekend of outdoor adventures. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and our last morning we awoke to the most beautiful sunrise over the frozen lake. We had everything we needed and the check in/out process was super smooth and well communicated! Would definitely love to come and stay again!!

Wonderful stay, highly recommended. My family and I had an amazing stay with Ceara. The location was everything we hoped it would be, providing us some much needed quiet family time. The home was well equipped, clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We were welcomed into their home and were provided a great time in Maine. I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

We all had a great time! The ice fishing was great. The cabin was very clean and it felt like we were right at home. We definitely were not ready to leave. Already looking forward to future trips here at this awesome place.

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

Jamie and Jed’s Webber Pond Cabin felt like home as soon as we walked in. The thoughtful touches, cozy atmosphere, cleanliness, beautiful setting and decor, and wonderful support from the host made this one of our favorite Airbnb experiences. We look forward to staying again in the future! ❄️
