Minnow cabins are a perfect place to stay for those who want to be surrounded by nature, in a rustic, peaceful setting. The views from the lounge and bedrooms are stunning and there are good short walks around the property. It’s a great base for adventures in the western tiers, north coast, and out to cradle mountain. Ann and Bruce are wonderful hosts and we look forward to returning for our next Tassie trip!

Birralee's Cottage in the Pines is sublime. Secluded with a stunning outlook. It's well appointed, very comfortable, and deceptively large. There is undercover parking for 2 cars. If ever in the area again, we would definitely rebook. Thanks a lot!

Alison is a good host. You can get everything you want inside the house. The location is very quiet. Alison showed us her pet sheep and let us feed them. She also introduced Arabella, a strong but gentle cow, to us. We really enjoyed our stay in the quiet place. We highly recommend this place to all of you who want quietness. Diana and Steve are fantastic hosts! Their farmstay experience was interesting and fun. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, with everything needed for our overnight stay. Breakfast supplies were plentiful, along with various snacks as well. Our stay was tranquil and relaxing. Visits from their dog Logan were an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in the cottage, and will return for a longer stay in a cabin next time.

Beautiful wilderness retreat away from the hustle and bustle! The views were so calming and the fireplace and stars at night was perfect. The home even though Tiny has everything you need and so well thought out. it's worth exploring the area and walking down to the river. cradle mountain is close by. highly recommend!

Great place to relax and smell the roses. The large bedroom upstairs was perfect, with a view over the pond and the huge window allows you to star watch at night. Echidna wandering the paddock, lots of birdlife and Steve went out of his way to help us spot the platypus in the pond. Steve's wild life photography is superb. Will stay here again

Steve's house is perfect for people who wants to sleep or stay in a peaceful environment. There are great views of the countryside outside the house with plenty of wildlife around. He was an excellent host with plenty of recommendations of things to do while in Tasmania. He was very helpful with any queries we had. I would recommend exercising caution up & down between the gate and the house especially arriving at night. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay and will gladly stay again.
