Amazing house and location in the wilderness. Such a unique experience, close to cradle Mountain and very peaceful, eclectic and comfortable house to be in. Very thoughtful owners, it was a privilege to be able to stay there.

We had a great time on the farm! We loved meeting all the animals. The house was clean, comfy and warm. The fresh eggs, homemade bread and jam were so delicious! Angela was very responsive and had a load of tips for the area. Would definitely stay again!

Birralee's Cottage in the Pines is sublime. Secluded with a stunning outlook. It's well appointed, very comfortable, and deceptively large. There is undercover parking for 2 cars. If ever in the area again, we would definitely rebook. Thanks a lot!

We had a wonderful experience on the farm! The cottage was stunning, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Our hosts surprised us with a delightful breakfast basket filled with fresh eggs, which was a lovely touch. The farm is a haven for animal lovers, featuring adorable chickens that lay delicious eggs, charming South African sheep with distinctive black and white markings, and a playful dog named Amber who loves to interact. This was one of our most memorable experiences, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway with breathtaking mountain views.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We wanted something isolated and peaceful and this 100% lived up to expectations with beautiful fields on the property to roam through, stunning views to Mt Roland and across the countryside and the only real neighbours being the pademelons, and the horses and cows on surrounding properties. It's a great central location for exploring NW Tasmania too. The property is styled to perfection and felt instantly like we were at home thanks to a thoughtful layout with the different living spaces and tucked away bedrooms. Every room has beautifully framed views and we loved being able to open all the french doors in the mornings and evenings. Having practical things like a laundry room was great after we got caught in bad weather at Cradle Mountain to freshen up our hiking gear. We ended up going further afield to Devonport and the coastal towns for eating out and supplies like Mon recommended as Sheffield is very small.

We had a fantastic stay at Mayfield farm Cottage. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of Mt Roland and the surrounding mountains right from the verandah. The cottage is spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect mix of comfort and charm. We loved the attention to detail, the friendly farm animals, and the beautiful food basket Lynette kindly provided. It’s a unique and memorable way to experience Tasmania’s countryside. Spotlessly clean and highly recommended for anyone considering a stay. Thanks for having us!

Karen’s place is a magical location. Views to Mt Roland and surrounds. Very peaceful and relaxing with everything you could possibly want in a country cottage. Karen and Lilly (Labrador) were really friendly and helpful. The perfect location to explore Sheffield (5 mins drive) and Cradle Mountain (50 mins drive).
