“Mary was a great host. The cottage has beautiful views over Mulroy Bay and Kerrykeel. The house was clean and well presented with a large kitchen diner perfect for entertaining. Most of our evenings were spent looking at the beautiful sunsets over the bay. For any problems Mary was on hand to help and was very helpful when our delayed flight meant the we arrived at the cottage far later than planned. The location of the cottage was excellent. Close to Milford and the Wild Atlantic Way, we could explore the beautiful countryside of Donegal. This was my partners first visit back to Donegal for 20 years, Mary’s hospitality, the location of the cottage and the wonderful views made this a trip to remember Thank you So much.”

“This place is just stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. It is idyllic, so tranquil and peaceful and the setting is beautiful. Everything about the barn just oozes character. It is so quaint and relaxing. Beautifully positioned on Lough Swilly. We could see the waves crashing against the pier at night from the sitting room with a roaring fire beside us (which was already lit for us on arrival!! - such a nice touch). We were never wanting for anything and we got extra coal for the fire whenever needed. We also had a visitor for breakfast one of the mornings :) The lovely dog came up to say hi. She is a darling and very friendly and docile. Can highly recommend this gem to anyone. One of the most unique accommodations I’ve stayed in.”
