Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

My place is close to Tana Bru, Finland, the beach. You’ll love my place because of It is located in the heart of East Finnmark. Many outdoors possibilities: fishing, ice fishing, berry picking, paddling, skiing, crosscountry skiing, hiking, hunting snowgoose, bicycling, bathing in the river, watching the Northern lights, bird watching.. High-quality holiday Villa, built in 2022, at a peaceful vantage point in Inari. Great views over the lake Rahajärvi from large windows. Surrounded by authentic Lappish nature. In case you do not want to explore the nature for some reason, there are two smart TV's (65" and 55"), PS5 and Nintendo Switch to play with. Bedroom’s TV is for streaming only. Distances; closest neighbour 0,4km, bus stop 5km, supermarket 15km, restaurant 15km, airport 25km. Note! Villa's fireplace is not in use.

This cottage might look too good to be true - but it's real! Our log cabin called Savu is located just next to the beautiful, rocky, fishy and pure lake Ukko as you can see in pictures. Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.
