We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

Harlequin is possibly the best equipped Airbnb we have stayed in. The house was warm and welcoming, indeed the welcome basket was a lovely surprise, containing pastries, fruit, eggs, milk, orange juice, cupcakes and wine! Plus treats for our dogs too! The quality of the bed linen and towels was exceptional and the beds extremely comfortable. Holmfirth is an easy 15 min walk down hill.. maybe a bit longer uphill on the return! We found great dog walking around the nearby Digley reservoir. Highly recommended!

We had a great weekend at Fir Garth. The house was well equipped for our group of 10: Good sized en-suite bedrooms with comfy beds and cosy duvets, a really well equipped kitchen ( we did lots of cooking), the main living was a great sized space, a projector, games, an extra snug room, outdoor space etc. The location was excellent, pub and shop within walking distance, excellent walks in the area, a beautiful view, quiet, easily accessible. We all agreed we would definitely come to the house again.

We loved our stay at School House over the holiday period. It was beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree and other decorations. Felt very homely. We cooked Christmas dinner at the Airbnb which went perfectly. We walked into town everyday which was only a 5-10 min stroll and there is also a good softplay for the kids a 5 min walk away by Lidl. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Family of 4 stayed 3 nights in October 2024 and it was just what we needed. Had some beautiful long walks along the beach. The caravan was home from home, clean and cosy. It had everything you could want for cooking a simple breakfast to Sunday Roast. Clean and respectful surroundings around the park. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Lingmell is a perfect place to stay - perched on a quite street above bustling and workmanlike Ambleside with steep but easy access to local shops & cafes as well as nearby walks and the park. Unassuming from the front, it opens up to elevated views over the town and Loughrigg Fell opposite - you could spend all day just watching the weather and the hills. But you can't...there is so much to do: walks, waterfalls, coffee shops, Zefirelli's (for cinema & jazz), boats on Lake Windermere...everywhere is pretty close. And finally, if you have the energy, there is the pool and spa, run by the entertaining management team! And Garth is always at hand if you need anything...a big 'Thank You' from us!

Our family had a lovely stay at Burrowbank at the end of the summer holiday. The house is fantastic with all the facilities you could ask for. The kids loved the swings and most of all the pool, while the covered (heated) BBQ area meant evening meals outside watching the sunset. Great location and setting, very private and we would definitely come again and recommend to others. Martyn and Christine were very helpful and went the extra mile (even posting my daughter’s disposable camera that she left behind). Can’t think of any negatives and we made some great/happy memories.

What an absolute gem of a place! We needed a last minute place to stay after a very stressful period. This place was just the job. House is fantastic, perfect for a family of 5 but could accommodate more. Everything we needed was provided. We would like to go back when the weather is slightly warmer to make more use of the outside space. With an additional treat of using the pool area at the hotel it was fab! Thank you

Beautifuly furnished house ,perfect for a weekend with friends. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was well maintained & just what we needed to relax. Jo was a friedly & very helpful host ,I would recomend anyone to come & stay at this beautiful peaceful location . Thank you for a lovley weekend at you tranquil home .

What a beautiful place to stay! Everything about this house was fantastic. The location was perfect right in the heart of Bowness with easy access to the lake, shops, bars and restaurants. Parking available for several cars (We had 4 but you could easily fit more). The house itself is just amazing with everything catered for all of our party which ranged from 21 to 80 year olds. The kitchen and dining areas are great and well stocked with absolutely everything you need. Plenty of space in the main living room for our party of 9 to all gather together. Bedrooms were all ensuite, well decorated and very comfortable. The games room with Pool table and hot tub was a great place to relax and have some fun, and the cinema room was fantastic. Great views from the balcony, up and down the Windermere valley. Communication with host David, was 1st class with immediate responses to any questions and a very flexible approach to requests. Would highly recommend and we will hopefully return.

Had a fantastic couple of days in Hebden over new year. Property is 10 minutes walk from the town and the canal. Loads to do in town, some fantastic pubs ! Loved the duke box in the house !

Would 100% recommend staying at the Riverain Coach House. We recently stayed with some friends and enjoyed local walks close to the house, a good selection of local pubs nearby but would recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment. However with Penrith and shops being only 10 minutes away, it wasn't a problem. The house has been done up beautifully and is really well equipped. Christine was great, providing lots of helpful information before our stay and the welcome hamper went down a treat. Thank you so much, we would 100% stay again.

Amazing little home, easy to find, clear instructions in a beautiful location

A very enjoyable place to stay in. No problems with anything in the house. Couldn't get our grandchildren out of the hot tub.

We visited to celebrate a big birthday and the house more than accommodated the 10 of us. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was a whole cupboard of board games. The hosts were welcoming and the house was stunning.

A great stay thank you and had everything we needed to keep our girls happy and not too far from the centre of town.

Had a fantastic stay! The property was spacious, clean, and warm, with a beautiful bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. The gaming room was a great bonus, perfect for relaxing and having fun. The location was amazing easy access to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

This was the absolute perfect place to stay for our trip - I grew up in the area and now live in Canada. We came back for a family reunion over New Year (my parents live very close by). Holly was super helpful and always responded very quickly to any queries. The house was very welcoming, clean, very well furnished and well equipped. Very quiet neighbourhood. Very comfortable beds! Check in instructions were very clear and well communicated. Thank you Holly for helping make our trip very special.

The property was perfect for a family get away. The size of the house and beautiful landscaped garden plenty of room to enjoy family time. However if anyone needed peaceful time plenty of areas to have that too. Hayley was so friendly and extremely helpful. The location was perfect to enjoy the best of Lytham but also easy trip into Blackpool. I can thoroughly recommend this property.

Amazing stay for my little boys 2nd birthday, the house felt like a home away from home. Only 5 minute drive from the Blackpool front which was very convenient. We loved every minute of our holiday and will definitely be booking again whenever we come back to Blackpool. Thanks Stephen!

Fantastic sat at Amy’s place. The accommodation had plenty of space for our party of 7 adults and one toddler with a single bed to spare. The property had clearly been recently refurbished to a high standard. All the fixtures and finishes were of high quality. Amy was a great host, really helpful before and during our stay. I would recommend this property for anyone visiting the area!

Davids place was a real home from home. David was extremely kind and communicated well. Extremely flexible to our request, which was a real help to us! The house was clean and well furnished. It was about a 30 min walk to winter gardens, where we had a weekend event. I will definitely book again if we have future events in the area! Thank you David for a wonderful stay in your lovely home!

Our second stay at George’s place and certainly won’t be our last. Great host, extremely friendly and accommodating. The house is perfectly located for ease of access to Blackpool via the tram, and yet far enough away from the centre to relax on an evening, quiet morning strolls or runs on the beach to Lytham st Annes etc. can’t recommend highly enough.

Woow!! All I can say is this place was beautiful! The kids felt at home with the amazing play room. The bedrooms were very clean and smelt lovely. They left us a hamper of breakfast stuff and essentials that are easy to forget at home. I will be booking this place again very soon. I didn't want to leave 😂 Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.
