New unique, atmospheric semi-detached cottage completed for Christmas 2023. Äkäsvilla is a log cabin for quality-conscious holidaymakers in the new Röhkömukanmaa area in Äkäslompolo, Ylläs. The cottage accommodates 6+2 guests. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of ski trails (500m), slopes (1.5km) and nature trails. From the large windows of the living room/kitchen facing the northern sky, you can admire the mountain landscape and, in the evenings, see the starry sky and the flames of the northern lights. 3 km to the store.

In the kitchen there is a sofa bed, which can be used for 2 people if necessary, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two separate beds. The apartment has a sauna section and another separate toilet. Parking space with electric car charging facility. Warm maintenance room for skis available. A newly built spacious cabin with warm ambiance and picturesque, serene surroundings. Only a short 10 minutes walk to the Levi village and ski lifts (1 km) and a very comfortable accommodation for 6+2 guests. Skiing, hiking and snow scooter routes close by. Cabin is available in Dec-Jan on a daily basis and Feb onwards on a weekly basis (Friday-Friday). Please note that, due to asthma in the family we are unable to accommodate guests with Service Animals, Emotional Support Animals or pets

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.

Cottage near Santa Claus Village

A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

Peacefully located Alpine cabin, main house is on the 2nd floor. Downstairs is a cosy 35m2 studio with own entrance and spacious parking for the guests to use. The location of the cabin is between Levi Fell and Kätkä Fell and the view from the studio is towards Kätkä Fell. Your hostesses are Tarja and Scott and we live upstairs and are happy to help you with anything and any questions you might have. We speak fluent English and Finnish.
