If you are looking for simplicity, peace and get-away from modern life, our tiny electricity-free log cabin Tilhenpesä is just for you! It´s located in northern Lapland, close to the main road by the lake, and close to small village Pulju(1,2km). There are no services in the village, except warm people and wonderful nature! Nearest grocery store etc.are in Levi 54 km. Cabin is a small studio, ideal for 2, but 4 if needed..and there's room to put a tent outside too. Inc.sauna and outdoor toilet.

Joiku 8 is a spacious, modern holiday home in Joiku Resort, completed in 2024 on the lakefront of Äkäslompolo. Expansive glass walls and a high ceiling frame views of the Ylläs swing and surrounding fells. The terrace with a private jacuzzi is ideal for relaxing after a day outdoors. Minikeittiössä keittolevy, mikro, jääkaappi, vedenkeitin, leivänpaahdin ja astiat (lasit, mukit, lautaset, kahvipressot ruokailuvälineet jne.). Vieressä olevalla rantasaunalla suihkut. Kompostoiva puucee. Sauna on puulämmitteinen. Opastamme tarvittaessa saunan lämmityksessä. Käytössä kesällä ja alkusyksystä.

This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.
