Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Our cozy cottage is located in the middle of the Danish Nature Foundation's beautiful areas – just a few steps from the beach. From all windows there are views of the unique dune landscape. Here you can enjoy the tranquility, the sound of the sea and the beautiful path that leads you directly to the beach through the dunes. The house is ideal for couples or families who want a holiday in nature – close to the sea and surrounded by rich biodiversity. Right outside the door you will find birdsong, butterflies and a variety of wildlife that makes the stay very special.

The house is newly renovated with access to its own terrace and has the most beautiful view over a very special landscape. On starry nights, you can experience the starry sky from the bed through the studio windows in the roof. During the day, you can enjoy the special light that the location close to the sea and fjord casts over the landscape. On the ridge behind the house, there is the finest view of the Limfjord and the countryside behind. It is not far to the fjord, where there are good swimming conditions and the trip there is really beautiful.

If you like hiking, there are good routes in Fosdalen, Bulbjerg and Svinkløv. Close to Svinklovene, Svinkløv Badehotel and one of Denmark's best MTB tracks in Slettestrand. There is wifi and electric charger for an electric car. We live in a scenic area, with a magnificent view of fields, lakes and forests. Find peace of mind and settle down in the garden or on the windowsill. Go out into the woods, or down to the lake and look at the fish. There is a small step into the house and stairs up to the first floor. The kitchen and bathroom are on the ground floor, upstairs there is a cozy TV room, and with room for card or board games. It is a 10-minute drive to Fjerritslev, which is a bustling trading town with good shops and restaurants.

Sommerhuset ligger 700 meter fra strand og Vesterhavet, hvor I kan opleve de smukkeste solnedgange. I kan ofte se råvildt og fasaner morgen og aften ved huset. Til hyggelige aftener er der også en bålplads som kan benyttes. Vi har renoveret sommerhuset så næsten alt står nyt og flot
