Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ku-ring-gai Chase

We had a perfect weekend at Chloe and Rohan's home. They've done a great job setting up the home for guests while still maintaining all of the thoughtful and cozy attributes of a home. The location is perfect and the deck offers a fantastic view of the ocean, which was very walkable and their native landscaping offers a bit more privacy. Chloe made everything extremely easy with a useful pdf pamphlet of things to know about the area and tips. Our dog loved the very secure yard! We hope to return!

A wonderful stay in a great big house with plenty of space and things to do. The host was very amenable and helpful and we had a wonderful time. Rooms were comfortable and the big loft space with lots of beds would suit a group with lots of older children, to have a big sleepover of sorts. Well fenced and set up for dogs too, with plenty of parks and dog friendly beaches nearby. Kitchen and cooking facilities had everything you need to actually cook, even for the larger groups that could fit in such a big house.

Loved our stay at Ilana’s house. The setting is lovely, rooms very comfortable and we spent many happy hours sitting around the table on the deck admiring the view. It’s so nice to go to an air bnb that has the kitchen essentials. Thank you Ilana, hope we can return one day.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful place! My family absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was inviting, and the surroundings were breathtaking. Every moment spent there was filled with joy and laughter. It truly felt like a perfect getaway for us.

Fantastic location for us to explore Bundeena and the Royal National Park. A short walk up the beach for coffee, and a really well equipped kitchen for the rest of our meals. The front deck with ocean views was amazing. Thanks for having us Fraser. We really enjoyed our holiday.

A beautiful house on a beautiful river. We are a skiing family and have just returned for our second stay and absolutely loved it.

Super convenient family stay. We (family of 3) felt right at home with everything we needed in the house. Waverton train station is less than 5 minutes walk, then just a couple of stops to Sydney city centre, Chatswood for shopping etc. Waverton has some nice restaurants & bars, bottle shop and a small supermarket. There are lovely walks right on the doorstep down to the harbour or up to crows nest for dinner & cafes. Thanks Samantha for a great stay.

The apartment was lovely, fresh and clean. It was a pleasure to open the door and see a lovely apartment with new finishes. The location was perfect and a short walk to the beach and other walking tracks. It had everything we needed and more, Gerard left a few treats for us as well, including chips, chocolate and wine! We stayed here with our three daughters, over Easter 2025. What a gorgeous place, in the best location. Five minutes walk down to the bridge and Circular Quay, and only a few minutes walk to the Barangaroo harbour pool, a hidden gem which our children loved. So easy to jump on the ferry to take you to Luna Park, Taronga Zoo, or any of the beautiful bays for lunch. The home was spotless, beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything we needed. So nice not to be cramped into one or two hotel rooms. This was such a lovely place to reside for a week. We are booking for next year too. Host was responsive and helpful. Thank you Jan!

Yantra has a beautiful house and a lovely properly. It was a wonderful stay, so peaceful. I would definitely come back! Communication was great and the environment was so welcoming.

Thank you for our stay at Balmoral! The family and I had a wonderful time. We have a one year old and a three year old who enjoyed going to the beach each day. The kids had a safe space to play in the enclosed courtyard. We made use of the fully equip kitchen, thank you! Irina was very accommodating and communicated well.

It’s a great place for relaxing with friends, where is not far from city ,very quiet and peaceful. We very enjoyed the wood fire in the yard and also walked down along greens Rd ,drove around mountains roads and met cute animals.

I had a very relaxing couple of nights in Madeleines delightful cosy beach shack. Easy walk to everything I wanted to do. A swim at the beach, a lovely walk on the Royal National Park walking track and an easy stroll to the shops to grab supplies and something for dinner. A soak in the outside bath was a great way to unwind after a day of activities. I enjoyed my stay 😊

2nd year here for her annual girls weekend absolutely perfect great location beautiful host and everything as described. Great price for a relaxing time.

Firstly, let me reveal the true secret of this Airbnb: Prue and Mathieu. They are amazing hosts, thinking of every detail. They were able to organize beautiful charcuterie board with champagne waiting for our Arrival. Beautiful birthday cake and inhouse massages next day. Every request was met with grace and carried out with such care and attention to detail. Forever grateful for making this birthday weekend so special. The place itself is beautiful. It is so cozy and so warm. Feels like home right away. The fireplaces outside and inside added extra fun. The bath outside alongside fire pit in the evening was super relaxing . And lastly the pizza oven! What a fun activity !!! I cannot recommend this place enough. The real question we currently have is how quickly can we come back. Stay here ! You will not regret it.

Staying on the river was paradise. It was beautiful - especially from the deck! My only two suggestions is to share there is no wifi and that the beds are pushed up against a wall. Also, at least for us, there was no data connection. We were able to go into town and use the cafe wifi, but if we had seen in advance (there was a message about no wifi at the bottom of the description), we would have prepared better for working remotely. Also for older people, the beds only allow one person to get out and the other person has a wall they sleep along. Other than these two minor items that can be communicated in the description, the accommodation, the location and all of the extras are excellent. We enjoyed the bbq, the kayaks, the hammock and the firepit. Everything was comfortable and the a/c was helpful sleeping at night when there was a controlled burn. We definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Philip’s place! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful surroundings, amazing walking trails, and stunning views. Philip was also a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and full of great local tips. We especially appreciated the clear instructions and thoughtful touches throughout the stay. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature. Loved our stay at June’s little private sanctuary. We absolutely loved the privacy and tranquility. Wallabies were adorable and it was definitely surreal waking up to them at our deck, patiently waiting for food. King parrots were beautiful. We enjoyed the short bush walk, though it was definitely tougher than it looks and offered a good challenge (take this city girl’s words with a pinch of salt for the experienced bush walkers!) We were initially intimidated by the drive in but managed it with a normal sedan. Definitely emerged well recharged. Well recommend it for anyone who needs a break from the city!
