Holiday rentals with breakfast in Kumamoto

We had a wonderful time at Katsushi and Tatako's farmstay and cannot speak too highly of our experience. The house is separate from the owners' home, so is very private, and surrounded by fields and scattered houses. Everything was spotless and we lacked for nothing, given that we were not self-catering. But it was our hosts' friendliness, their recommendations for local attractions, and above all, the food we were served, that were extra special. Breakfast is included, and featured plenty of home-grown veges, and other local produce. Since we didn't want to venture out at night, we also requested dinner on both nights of our stay (for a modest additional cost), and those meals were also truly wonderful. Japanese home cooking at its best. We were also invited to attend a Kagura dance at a local shrine, and were taken one evening to a local community hall to learn about preparations for another festival. All in all a wonderful and memorable experience.

ได้มีโอกาสมาพักที่guest houseนี้ 2 คืน และถือว่าเป็นประสบการณ์ที่ดีมากๆ เพราะที่พักตั้งอยู่ไม่ไกลจากสถานีรถไฟ เดินทางสะดวกสุดๆ ตัวเจ้าของที่พัก ใจดี เป็นกันเอง และมีความโอโมเทนาชิฝุดๆ แถมแกยังบริการไปรับ-ส่งจากสถานีรถไฟอีกด้วย บ้านตกแต่งสไตล์ญี่ปุ่นดั้งเดิม อายุ90ปี ให้ความรู้สึกแบบญี่ปุ่นแท้ๆ แบบauthentic ห้องพัก มีฟูกfutonแบบญี่ปุ่นนุ่มมาก หลับสบายค่ะ ทาคามิจิซังแกเป็นคนที่คุยสนุกและมีประสบการณ์เยอะมาก ถึงแม้แกจะได้ภาษ่อังกฤษนิดหน่อย เราก็ได้คุยและแลกเปลี่ยนเรื่องราวและวัฒนธรรมกัน ซึ่งเป็นอะไรที่สนุกมาก แกอยากให้มีคนจากประเทศต่างๆมาพักกับแกเยอะๆรวมถึงคนไทยด้วย อีกสิ่งคืออาหารเช้า เป็นแบบญี่ปุ่นแท้ๆ ที่แกทำเอง มีทั้งสลัด ข้าว ไข่ ซุปมิโซะ นัตโตะ และผลไม้ สดใหม่ทุกวัน อร่อยมากหาที่ร้านอาหารไม่ได้ ถ้ามีแพลนจะไปเที่ยวไหนแถวนั้น บอกแกได้เลย แช่วยแนะนำวิธีเดินทางและmust visit spot ที่นี่เหมาะมากสำหรับการมาพักผ่อน และคนที่ ต้องการการสัมผัสบรรยากาศญี่ปุ่นอย่างแท้จริง บรรยากาศอบอุ่น สบายๆ เป็นประสบการณ์ที่ หาตามที่พักอื่นๆไม่ได้ค่ะ แนะนำสุดๆ

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans cette jolie maison traditionnelle, un lieu idéal pour se plonger dans l’atmosphère paisible de la campagne japonaise. Emi et sa famille nous ont accueilli très chaleureusement. Le petit-déjeuner et le repas du soir sont très généreux et délicieux. Merci pour tout !

Stefano’s property in Takamori exceeded all expectations. The place was spotless, and honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The home perfectly blends modern comforts with traditional charm, and the welcoming mix of Italian bread and wood scents made it feel like home. Stefano’s thoughtful touch of providing fresh bread every day for breakfast was a lovely bonus. This place is truly a hidden gem!

Les hôtes sont très sympathique! ils nous on même offert des petits bonbons de la région! Ça se rend très bien avec une voiture et c'est très paisible. Les lits étaient très confortable et on a pus profiter du kotatsu!

La regione di Kumamoto è stata una incantevole scoperta e la guest house di 大塚 è stata parte di questa bella esperienza. La casa si trova in un’area tranquilla di Kashima, distante 10 minuti a piedi dalla fermata dell’autobus per Kumamoto city. Grazie 大塚, per la tua ospitalità che ha aggiunto un fascino speciale al nostro viaggio! La sistemazione in cui ci siamo trovati è sembrata immergerci nell’'abbraccio di un Giappone d’altri tempi. Varcando la soglia, abbiamo sentito la cura dedicata ad ogni dettaglio. Gli interni meravigliosamente decorati, dall'angolo accogliente del soggiorno al generoso spazio per il riposo al piano superiore, ai piccoli ma significativi elementi per la colazione, tutto è stato meticolosamente considerato. Abbiamo trovato una coppia di host molto gentili e disponibili che hanno reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile!

As always a wonderful stay. Generous and flexible throughout. I will absolutely stay again in the future! Perfect for families with a park right in front and easy walkability to supermarkets, pharmacy, massage, etc.

二週間滞在し、天草市を満喫しました。ここを拠点に車で３０分前後で天草全域にアクセス可能。生活に必要なものは家電、調理器具、調味料までほぼ揃っており、釣ってきた魚や地場の食材で料理を楽しみました。車で１分の港ではいろいろな魚が釣れ、釣り好きと料理好きには絶好の宿です。加えてオーナーの人柄が温かく、また会いに行きたくなる素敵な宿です。車で７分くらいのスーパーゼロには、おいしい刺身がそろってます。その隣の温泉もおすすめ。漁協のヒオウギ貝やアジのみりん干しもおいしかったなぁ。
