Unwind in this newly built, beautiful and peaceful property surrounded by nature – amidst deciduous trees, fields and forests. The house is located right next to the Bohusleden hiking trail, Fontin Nature Reserve (Milspåret trail), the Trankärrsslingan hiking trail, Marieberg Nature Reserve and the Göta Älv river, with Kungälv and Bohus Fortress both within cycling distance and Gothenburg, Marstrand and the Svartedalen nature conservation area just a bus ride away. Enjoy a wide range of hiking and cycling routes, and stroll through the wonderfully cosy neighbourhood of Gamla Kungälv, with its cafés and shops.

Wonderful cottage with a patio that has ocean views

We rent out our cottage, which is a real gem all year round. The location is perfect with a 5-10 minute walk to saltwater swimming and nice viewpoints. By car, you can get to Marstrand in 20 minutes and to Gothenburg in 35 minutes and we recommend having a car. The cottage is older and simple but has been partially renovated in the winter of 2025. It is located on a beautiful natural plot and has a sunroom with a balcony that has sea views. The house is suitable for families with children, friends and couples. Maximum 4 adults but more if they are children.

Sjöstugan

My place is right on the beach in the middle of nature. Close to Alingsås, Hindås, Landvetter airport, Gothenburg, Borås. You'll love my place because of the lakeside and nature location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The cottage is about 30 square meters and the associated sauna cottage with shower, toilet and laundry is about 15 square meters. Free access to canoe for tenants. Good opportunities for fishing, motorboat available to rent!

Here the noise level is quiet, it smells of forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right fit. Welcome to the homey cottage located in the middle of our smallholding. The landscape is rural and serene, yet Gothenburg is only twenty minutes away by bus from Eriksdal. While staying, you have the forest close, offering charming paths in a nature reserve, or longer hiking's along Bohusleden. Enjoy your breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening at the patio. However, take to heart the gentle neighs from horses, mischievous sheeps and our kids playing with the dog!

Charming rural cottage between Gothenburg and Kungälv

Charming accommodation in the countryside, while it is only 20 minutes to central Gothenburg and 10 minutes to Kungälv. The beds in the bedroom are made and ready when you arrive. Bed linen and towels are included. The cottage has its own private patio and lawn with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. There are no neighbours, except for us. There is a cosy beech forest for walks etc., and you can often see wild animals and birds. No pets in the cabin.
