An eldorado for top hiking enthusiasts with nearby peaks over 1000 meters above sea level, such as Trolltind and Åbittinden, but also great for hiking in the terrain, summer and winter. Sunndalsfjella, Trollheimen, Innerdalen, Vinnutrappa, Prestaksla, Aursjøvegen and Eikesdalen are just a short drive away.

Hiking possibilities in the area are almost endless. Rental of rowing boat is agreed at least 1 week BEFORE check-in, for boat experts (summer only). No matter what nature you prefer, you have everything you need close by. Here it is possible to go on nice mountain hikes, fish from the jetty or go on a mushroom and berry in the forest close by. It is occasionally possible to rent a boat with a motor. This has to be agreed with those at the neighboring farm for a sum.

Arctic dome Hoset

Arctic Dome Hosetåsen ligger i Orkland kommune. Domen ligger på en topp med skog rundt, men med en åpen og vakker utsikt utover dalen og mot fjellene i Trollheimen. Legg deg i en myk og komfortabel seng hvor du kan nyte stjernehimmelen, og våkne til en nydelig utsikt. Senk skuldrene å nyt roen naturen og utsikten gir! Fra parkeringen er det ca 600 meter å gå, ta på gode sko da stien går gjennom skog og litt myr. På vinteren må en gå på ski eller truger da det ikke er brøytet vei.

BenteBu i Trollheimen

Lad batteriene på denne lille hytta i rolige omgivelser ved porten til Trollheimen. Hytta ligger i et lite hyttefelt i Langlimarka i Rindal, der det er 6 hytter fordelt på 1 km. Hytta ligger i fint turterreng for fjellturer på sommers tid og skiturer om vinteren. Om sommeren er det ca 20 min å gå fra sommerparkeringa. Om vinteren er bare deler av skogsveien brøytet, da er det en 2,5 km skitur opp til hytta. Skuterfrakt av varer kan avtales.

Boat rental (summer season): marina with fishing loop area about 500 meters from the cabin. Here you can rent various boats with engines from 20 - 80 hp.

Settemsdalen

Spacious basement apartment in rural surroundings with many nice mountain hikes in the area. About 15 minutes from Halsa (E39), 25 minutes from the center of Surnadal. Bus stop right by the house with bus connection to Kristiansund, Trondheim, Molde and Ålesund. Two single beds (90cm) and a sofa bed with a good top mattress (120cm).
