Knaben is known for its nice snow conditions in winter and nice hiking areas in summer. 3 minutes by car from the apartment there are swimming opportunities and good fishing opportunities in Kvina. The swimming area is popular with guests at Knaben. Above the apartment there is a climbing wall called Knaben via ferrata.

Innsjøen nedenfor er kjent for gode fiskemuligheter. Det er ikke uvanlig å få stor ørret her. Båt kan leies fra 1.april - 31.oktober fra 300kr pr døgn eller 1000kr for en uke.
