Idyllic spot by Lake Tinnsjøen near Rjukan

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

At 920 metres above sea level, you will have fantastic views of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings and very good sunlight from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquillity, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

One of the cabins closest to Gaustatoppen, so for hiking you can go directly from the cabin out on the mountain. Ski in/out and about 200 meters to the cross-country trails and hiking trails. Ideal cottage for 2 families with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, hall and bathroom on the lower floor and 2 bedrooms, toilet and living room (with sofa bed and TV) on the upper floor.

Fantastic location with direct access to alpine and cross-country trails. View of Gaustatoppen (1883 m.a.s.l.) and Rjukan valley. Great hiking terrain, several fishing waters nearby, short distance to Gaustabanen to get to Gaustatoppen. Krossobanen is located at the end of Rjukandalen and here Hardangervidda starts with many great bike trails. The cabin is suitable for families who want a mountain trip with cabin comfort. It is rented to adults over 25 years of age who treat the cabin as their own. Parties are not allowed.

Large cozy vertically divided cabin with great location and high standard. The cabin is located right next to the downhill slope and right next to cross-country trails in winter. In summer there are countless hiking opportunities and if you are interested in fishing there are many good alternatives in the area. Gaustatoppen is a very popular mountain hike and is located nearby. Centrally located in Gaustablikk, close to pub, hotel with spa, grocery store and ski rental. In summer, you can rent a bike, canoe or play a round of paddle. The cabin has 4 bedrooms, living room with open kitchen solution, bathroom with sauna and separate toilet. Parking is just outside and the road is gravel.
