Farmstay holiday rentals in Lake Balaton

We had a very nice time at László, very quiet and beautiful surroundings.

Very sweet host and wonderful house and view of Balaton! She brought us fresh figs from her garden and she (and her son) was very helpful. We would love to return one day.

Our stay at Eva‘s lovely farmhouse was simply amazing. Such a peaceful and quiet area - a lot of time we spent at her cute and with green surrounded terrace. The house, due to it‘s structure, is very comfortable even during hottest summertime. So you won‘t miss an air-conditioning, as it‘s really not necessary. Eva herself as well is one of a kind, such a lovely soul and very open and easy-going in communication. Could not have wished for a better host. All in all, I can recommend 10/10.

Perfect base for activities and visits in the region : Hevis, Sziglet Castle,Tapolca,Cycling,Hiking,swimming and paddle boarding on the lake. Cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, even rabbits and deer among the vines.

Rozsa was very responsive, hospitable, gave us several recommendations regarding the area, which beaches to go to, etc. She offered her help to meet us at a certain time in the foothills and escorted us to the top where the house is located. The house itself is very cozy, well thought out, with many different interior details and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. This place gives you a feeling of privacy, but at the same time you know that your neighbors will be nearby. The view of the valley and lake was amazing. The first night the wild animals were a bit noisy and disturbing, for the rest of the week I think they realized we were there and didn't come back. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Beautiful views, a beautifully decorated house, an island of recharge and tranquility awaited us. The terraces always have sun and shady space that you just want. This is the place we needed now.

We were with a group of friends and small children. Spacious living room, dining room, breakfast, dinner was a real family experience. We had a lot of trouble. Everyone had a good time. Thank you so much!

We had a very nice week in this quiet, tidy, surrounded by green hills, and yet we were soon there on Lake Balaton and other hiking places. The house is spacious, well-equipped, clean, and for those with kids, the garden playground is just super. From the terrace, we saw the full moon behind the hills and during the day a small bat slept under our window sill.

Nice break in peace! Apartment at the foot of the vineyards, very charming, perfect for two. We took advantage of our first evening to taste the excellent white wine offered by Gabor. The morning coffee on the terrace with the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains was a real pleasure. We took advantage of our day to venture on Mount Badacsony, a twenty-minute drive away, before enjoying the panoramic view at Laposa bar. We also stung a head at Heviz (even if the water was not as hot as we hoped) before returning to the apartment for a movie night on Netflix! In short, we recommend to anyone who wants to escape a little from the capital and recharge in this beautiful environment:-)

The location is great, fantastic view and the house is very authentic. There are a lot of activities to do in the nearby area. Hosts were superb, hassle free check-in and check out. We built great memories at this special place!

It was 5 of us four grown ups and a little baby. The house is very sweet and not big, but very cozy we really enjoyed our stay! You can find everything for grill and for kids, in general everything you need. The house had a huge backyard and neighbors are very friendly. If you want to escape from the city and chill in nature it is a perfect accommodation for you. Thank you 🌺❤️

When I saw the cottage photos I knew it’s the right place for me and when I arrived there I just felt home. The whole area is amazing. It’s away from noise and people just you with the birds and nature of beautiful Balaton. The moment I booked the cottage on Airbnb Abel and Anita were so helpful and communicative. The moment I arrived Anita drove me to the cottage then helped me to visit some places also arranged an activity for me and my daughter. She’s an angel on earth. She made it sure that my stay is going well. The weather was raining so definitely I will come back on summer. Thank you Anita and Abel. You are amazing 🩵

In a wonderful location, an old fairytale thatched press cottage. The place itself is a slice of history, it takes you back to an old age, yet it carries all the comforts of today's modern world. It's awe-inspiring how Hungarian culture appears among these old, cool, and protective walls. The preservation of all the elements of this press house is a sign of great love. The family, the beloved, carries the marks of kindness with the fruit trees and lavender plantations of this place. The landlord and his helper are immeasurably kind and helpful. Anyone who stays here falls in love with the place, they don't want to go home or go home. In addition to the fact that all the vineyards, fruit trees, spices and herbs are all at your fingertips, the small inhabitants of the forest themselves will be honored if we wait patiently on the bench in front of the house, which rests under the shade of an old and huge walnut tree. Deer, wild rabbits, pheasants come to the house and curiously contemplate the temporary residents of the house. The pool behind the house is flawless, clean and warm.

It's a really good place, the view from the house is worth a stay in itself. The neighborhood is very peaceful, almost a separate effort should be made if we want to see people. And in the silence of the night, just a distant dog barking "makes" you feel from the village beneath the hill. If we don't want to spend our time in the house, you can hike the surrounding hiking trails, forests, and many sights within half an hour.

Lisa’s place is amazing and at great location. It is very spacious and a stone throw from the lake. Lisa herself is very kind and the check in was smooth and the instructions were clear and accurate. The kitchen is unfortunately not very well taken care of as the dishes were mainly dirty and stained and I wish Lisa was more available in case of unexpected situations because when there was a problem with heating I had to wait for 3 days until the problem was resolved which is not very convenient in winter time. But I can understand that unexpected problems might occur so after all it wasn’t that much of a big deal. However, I think this place is totally worth the price and I also appreciate that there are boardgames you can borrow and it is very well furnished with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to spend some beautiful time at Balaton. Thank you!

Amazing place in beautiful surroundings. Loved relaxing in the garden with a glass of Badacsony wine and enjoying local produce from the nearby farmers market in the cute traditional kitchen. The house has everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. Will definitely come back!

The place was quiet and a large garden. Suitable for a stay with children. It is necessary to count on the amount of mosquitoes . Not far from the house restaurant and autubus transport.in the distance of four baths. 4 stars accommodation

All was great. Mark and Debs are very nice and helpful. They created a lovely place where one can just relax and enjoy life. The campsite and the rooms are very clean, positive and comfortable. The food was tasty and enjoyable. The hosts created a really wonderful place. We recommend it to everybody.

We spent a weekend in Renata's fabulous home. She was very kind and helpful throughout, offering us extra local options. The house is fully equipped, clean, and tidy. The surroundings and panoramic views are a fairytale, which you can enjoy from every room. The next time we're here, we'll be sure to choose this accommodation. We had a very nice time at Adam&Flora's place. They were very helpful and responded to our wishes. The apartment has a very nice bright living/dining area with amazing views of the lake. The two bedrooms are very cozy and have "tent character" due to the slope. A very nice beach, restaurants and supermarket are within walking distance. We will be happy to come back! Thank you!!
